    Based on Arborcare recommendation in 2022 to permanently rid my property of “suckers” I had a tree removed/stump grind from front yard. Prior to accepting proposal, I questioned if the depth of 6-8” grind was adequate. I was assured this depth was more than enough for the Hawthorne tree I have. Further stated if it were a maple or schurbert depth would be a different story. 4 confused, ill prepared gentlemen showed up looking in my back yard for the front yard tree! They didn’t realize they were removing the tree. They found an axe which took several whacks to down it. They did have a stump grinder but how deep did it go is questionable. Suckers continued to grow 2022 thus emailed my concern. Reply was an eye opener “suckers aren’t a result of improper stump grinding, they are a common place & should be expected (not mentioned prior) I was told to keep mowing & will not likely grow back in the spring. Here it is summer 2023 & the suckers continue to grow. Sent another email …arborcare replied with quote. Why, I already paid for the service to rid suckers from front. Several back & forth emails, received call from a gentleman, stating they did the work & this is nature, could take 24 months with weekly mowing to rid suckers. Projecting sucker elimination further into the future. I agreed to hold off another year however if by next year I expect Arborcare would remedy at their expense. Nope…they’d only “fix” for a price. Too bad they weren’t forthcoming prior to the proposal/work/payment in 2022. I wouldn’t have removed tree, yes I’d still have the suckers but I’d also have the cash! Very disappointed this company doesn’t stand by their work!
