    Not happy with Olympia trust.The fees on somethings are greater then the money i have in the account. I call over there to talk to someone and it gors to voicemaill without even saying who it is... So they reaky want me to leave a nessage to them when they can't even say that this Olymoia trust... Weird

    Olympia Trust Company ("Olympia") contacted the party who made the complaint on May 3, 2023, via email. It was explained to the complainant that perhaps they had the wrong contact number for the company and ***************** information was shared with him. Once we hear back from the complainant, we will work with him to resolve any issues raised to the complainant's satisfaction.

    My husband passed away in December 2021 and I have been working with this Company since that time to have a small (under $8,000.00) P*** transferred to my name as sole beneficiary.After all this time numerous e-mails and returned forms and tons of frustration this was finally completed.I asked to have the *** transferred to my *** with another Bank and was told that I must first pay the fees and transfer to my name with Olympia Trust, and then I could transfer it to my Bank. Well this was another lie,now I am told they don't have my money,they just charge me $175.00 a year to hold the *** for another Company! I am sure I will never see my money again and thankfull it is not a larger amount.Their employees do not know anything about the Company they hold funds for and all I ever hear is " but mam these funds are self directed and we can't help you! "I rate Olympia Trust at - ZERO and have made sure all friends and family are aware of their ways .Obvious they are laughing about the fact they have taken money from another senior.

    I closed my account bank in June paid the fees for everything that was requested by ***********. Unfortunately some money arrived from an investment in August . Now Olympia wants more money to release these funds over 30% on an account that is already closed.

    I made the mistake of investing with Olympia Trust Company in 2009. The investment had an exit strategy of 5 years. Because of Olympia Trust's terrible mis-management and bankruptcy protection restructuring I'm still stuck with this *** 13 years later. I investigated into the real estate marketing and sale of the investment property "****** ***** Cornerstone" It was non-existent.* ***** ****. If you couldn't make money with U.S. real estate in the years 2009 to 2013 ****** ** *****.The admin fees are where they make their money. In 2009 they charged $131.25/yr. in 2022 they are charging $201.21/yr. That *** not sound bad but add that up over 13 years in addition to the incredibly high withdrawal fees when your investment actually becomes available for withdrawals... it's a LOT! I can't believe this company hasn't been investigated further by the Investment ******************************** of Canada (IIROC).My initial investment was $15,485.34. To date I've been charged $2,680.31 in admin fees alone. I've only had the ability to make 2 withdrawals for $951.11. Expect to pay at least $115 per withdrawal in fees and don't forget about the associated federal and provincial taxes.My current account value is $7,395.75. That's a loss of $4,458.17 from initial investment (29% loss)Admin fees paid to date $2,680.31.Total loss to date is $7,138.48 You can kiss your money goodbye when you invest with ***** ******.I hope that this review will help other ********* avoid losses.If I had invested that money in a savings account I would have done better!I've done much better investing in U.S. real estate on my own with huge rental returns and appreciation values.My advice Stay Away from Olympia Trust Company! It's no wonder they have no ****** review presence on the web. They'd never get any business.

    Well if you think your going to get anywhere calling this place good luck. Just trying to get information on your account. When you do finally speak with someone they tell you they cant help you. So after all the B.S i get the forms for withdrawl submit it July 15 and today is July 23. The forms state 3 to 5 buisness days. Guess they changed it to over 5 days lol. Anyways nothings been done. They can expect me Monday morning to drive down to ******* to get my money.
