      WC installed a ** with pump based on recommendation by the salesman Oct **, 2024 Issues occurred right from the start. Tank wasn't filling properly and pump would go off every 5 minutes. It was like you were living in a 5th wheel camper. Ended up just shutting the pump off to preserve sanity. The service tech came back multiple times to try to fix. Then the water started to taste horrible, as even noted by the tech on the workup. Ended up replacing the entire unit Dec ** and removing the pump. Originally I was quoted $******* for the unit with a pump and $******* without a pump. I expected to receive a refund of $****** after all was said and done. However the refund was short $****** as they indicated this was for labor/small parts from the initial install. Ironically, they invoiced me for the new unit/labor on Dec ** for $******* - which was in error as accounting didn't realize it was a replacement unit. My guess is the difference in the cost from quoted was additional onset labor to retro fit the main water line, but I'm just speculating. Therefore I didn't debate the difference between the $***************** I do not feel I should have had to eat the additional $****** labor/parts from the install on a unit that was faulty from Day 1. I understand I did not keep the pump, but the service manager was unable to tell me on the phone Jan *** if the ** unit or the pump was faulty, so not sure why I would pay for any of those costs above the original quote.I attempted to get a refund by email as well as talking with the service manager but was not successful. My mistake as well was paying for the unit upfront and not waiting until successful installation. I then had no leverage for remedy as they had all my money up front. I would appreciate a moderator to review this claim as I do not seem to be getting anywhere with the business, but feel I am being wrongly charged for a faulty unit.
