    I purchased a Halo Bassinet (Halo Bassinest 3.0 Swivel Sleeper) from West Coast Kids on February 25, 2025 from their online Store. When we went to assemble the infant bassinet today we discovered there was a defect in the base of the bassinet making it unstable. I called the store immediately to inform them. We were told we had to contact the ************ on Monday. I explained to them that I am having a cesarean section this Wednesday morning March 19th and that I needed an immediate solution. I asked if I could return the bassinet to the Calgary West Coast SE location and pick up a new one as I purchased it from West Coast Kids (as time is of the essence and have nothing to safely put my newborn in when I come home from the hospital next week). They refused to accommodate this request and gave us the runaround for several hours over multiple phone calls. They told us we had to wait until Monday end of day for the manager to get back to us. I have spent thousands of dollars at West Coast Kids over the past couple of months and frankly I am out of time. I need an immediate replacement of this bassinet so we can set it up before I head to the hospital on Wednesday morning! West Coast Kids needs to honour their products especially when there is a defect affecting the safety of the product. This is causing me additional stress that I simply dont need right before the baby arrives!

    Pretty disappointed with the customer service here after spending 10K at the store. One of the items purchased was a floor model Pali crib, which we were told can be elevated (their website also has multiple images that show an extra mattress can be purchased to elevate as well). I'm not a lawyer, but in my opinion this looks like it could be a case of false advertising. We requested to be able to exchange the unused item for the Stokke equivalent which can be elevated, and management is standing firm on their final sale policy. Now we're stuck with a crib that my wife can not reach into to pick up our baby.

    I purchased a portable stroller named NANO_V3 on December 26, ***** for ****** including tax. When the trolley was used only in indoor environment, parts of the trolley were damaged two days later, which was an important force point of the stroller. Therefore, I chose to negotiate a refund or replace a new trolley in the store under the premise of considering the safety of the child. At that time, ***, the person in charge of the store, met us and told us that they could not solve the problem and had to help us find the supplier and promised to reply us within a week. They also stated that we could continue to use the cart during the complaint phase, but because we had serious doubts about the safety of the cart and that the vehicle was intended for a three-month-old who could not walk, we chose not to use it and left it in the store. Today is the tenth day after the incident happened. I took the initiative to contact *** again, and she told me that the supplier has not received any response and we need to wait. My complaint is that, first of all, the quality of this trolley has serious problems, which is a great threat to the safety of the child's life, and we only used it in the indoor shopping mall on the second day of the force point parts damage, which is very incomprehensible. Second, I was very dissatisfied with the attitude of the store staff, who did not solve my problem in a timely and efficient manner. I just wanted to have a portable trolley to cope with the trip, but their reply to me was to wait indefinitely. I hope I can get help, refund the full amount or exchange it for a new stroller with guaranteed quality, thank you.
