    I had the *************** come to fix my leaking basement walls. They came assessed the issues gave us a quote on the job which we agreed to, and they started the job. While doing this job he hit a gas line and had to have it fixed, he was going to charge me for the cost of fixing the gas line, which I refused to do as he had done the locate. He was very annoyed that I refused to pay for the fix stating he wouldn't be making any money. He had told us that he was going to tar my exterior walls and put a membrane on the walls, which he guaranteed this would fix the leak that I had in my basement. Which I have recently found out he didn't tar one of the walls only applied membrane over the wall, which is the wall that started leaking. I have a gas meter on the one wall that when he dug the gas meter was not stabilized and it twisted, I had pointed this out to the contractor who did nothing to fix the gas meter at the time he was digging. The gas meter started leaning which in turn broke one of the gas lines and we had a gas leak. I had to call the emergency number for the gas company to come and fix it. During the excavation he reports that he said that he suggested that we install weeping tile. This was never a conversation prior to him digging. Since he had told my husband that he guaranteed that the tar and the membrane would fix the problem my husband declined the suggestion.He then suggested that we put in window ***** to help prevent water build up which we did agree to. He installed the window ***** on three windows. I have since been told by other contractors that I have had come in to quote me fixing my walls as I had a flood in my basement after he completed the job, that the window ***** were not the correct size. The window ***** were pulling away from the wall not installed correctly.I contacted J group to ask him to fix the issues he told me that I was on my own as we didn't take him up on the suggestion to install weeping tiles.
