  We hired Weatherhead Concrete to replace a walkway in our backyard. He told us in April, ****************************** July 2023. In June 2023 he asked us for a $2000.00 deposit before he would begin the job, so we paid the deposit. He didnt show ** in July, and around the middle of august we called him to find out when he was going to start the job. He had no definitive answer, he just said soon. He said he had to finish some other jobs first.In the beginning of September he showed up and tore out old concrete and removed dirt . On September 19, he texted he would be here; did not show up.September 20th texted he would not be here he had another customer but would be would be here on 23 rd to finish prep for concrete.September 23 rd I texted asked if he was coming he replied yes he would be here the next day (24th)On 24th I texted and asked if he was coming. He responded that they are working on another job on 25th but would be at my place on 26th no matter what. He did not show up..Still.On 27th he texted he said he would be here the morning of 28th. On the 28th he did not show up and texted and asked for another $1000. Deposit.On September 29th he texted asked about money so he could book concrete and other materials.I responded with the statement I will not give any more money until you show up to do some work.October 2 weatherhead came and prepped job site to pour concrete; left his skid steer in our yard. I gave him $1000.On October 16 ( had not come back since October 2) his response to my text was waiting on concrete delivery date will confirm later in day with date.October 20 I texted again and asked when he will finish job. No reply October 21 I texted and asked again, he responded with he wasnt feeling well but would come 22 to remove his equipment and tarp the site for snow. October 23 I texted and asked his where about ( had not showed up)October 24 I asked for $1500 returned for work not completed and terminated our contract .
