    We came into contact with Prestige Renovations on May 24, 2022. We were in contact periodically through text/email/calls/at site regarding a build of an addition on the home we were looking to purchase. He provided us with a contract on June 16th that we signed for the work. On June 30, my bank direct deposited $29, 307.08 to Prestige Renovations, based on his banking information provided to me. This amount was previously agreed upon per contract to cover his deposit and the deposit for ***** **** **** per their provided quote. ****** (Prestige) then sent me an emailed receipt that he had received the deposit in full, and then provided a screen shot of an etransfer indicating he had paid our deposit out of the transferred amount-to ***** **** **** to commence foundation work. Following June 30, I did not hear from ****** and sent a message to him July 6, inquiring about the work start date. He sent a reply July 9 indicating that **** **** would likely come the 20th and he would try to get out sooner to do the landscaping. I did not hear from him again, even though I have tried numerous times to text/email/call.
    On August 2, I called ***** **** ****, to inquire on start date, as I had not yet contacted them personally. They indicated that they too had not heard from Prestige professionally since June 30(date of money transfer), and that they were trying to locate me due to no contact information outside of site address regarding start of construction. All parties remain unable to reach him. He is not responding to email/call/text.
    Essentially, he has taken $29307.08 from me and is now unreachable.
