    I would not recommend Pro Stock Performance to anyone hoping to get an engine built for their vehicle. In March 2021 they built an engine for me at a cost of $8,000+. This included a dynamometer test- running the engine for several hours at various speeds to "break in" engine + determine if there are any issues prior to installation- at a cost of $1,500. I noticed oil leaks the day after getting the car back. ****, the mechanic, said, "it wasn't leakin' on the dyno". They also never flushed the break- in oil out after the dyno. For over 3 months I was driving with this oil! After numerous phone calls, I was finally scheduled to get the leaks fixed in July. After the "fix", the leaks were still present. Taking the car to another repair shop for a second opinion, the owner said all **** did was silicone the leaks and not replace any seals/gaskets. His opinion of ****, "this guy doesn't have any pride in his work". Pro Stock said the leaks were not oil related, rather it was a leaky transmission. 3 independent shops have inspected the car and all have stated the leaks are not from the transmission. I have had vacuum issues as well, resulting in starting/stalling issues, rough idle, poor performance which carburetor changes and adjustments cannot solve. Right now, the heads are being machined-not done right the first time- by a different shop that cares, which will address the vacuum issues. All of this will cost me around $3000.
