    terrible program on the windshield replacement program insurance, it is a defiant money grab and a way of gouging the consumer phoned about getting my windshield replaced, it has to be bigger than a loonie and it doesn't matter if its directly your sight line, got it filled shrunk a bit but its still there distracting me, so had to divert to my sgi auto pac glass coverage with a higher deductible, stay away from the windshield replacement coverage on new vehicle's its a simple money grab.

    First off North ************ lied to us about the glass coverage and we only found out after we tried to make a claim that they lied. Now about the smart program, took over a week just to get an approval to have ours replaced, then they tell us we have to pay for the Ceramx coating that was put on the original winshield to prevet chips and scratches. *** Didn't work for us but I still have to pay for it to be reapplied. The way I see it if it was part of the windshield when we bought the car why would I have to pay seperately for that. Or since I don't think it works anyway why can't I say no to it? My recommendation is it's more of a scam than it's worth.

In regards to the coating, the coating does not guarantee that it will prevent windshield damage. It only helps prevent it. That is why we have the replacement in the warranty. If you would like us to send a technician to your house to reapply the coating, please let us know. Unfortunately, we cannot find our info in our system.

    The list of exclusions for this so called insurance policy is misleading.I have a 2019 Ram truck. I paid $1171 for top of the line coverage against cosmetic damage to my truck.A piece of chrome trim has been damaged by a rock chip, which has caused water ingress and the chrome is bubbling up.First they told me they did not cover chrome trim. I said I see no mention of chrome trim in your exclusions. They said that it's not a painted surface. I said that's not clear, chrome *** part of vehicles paint.They then said it's a manufacture defect!It's a rock chip.I have requested a refund and they said I only have 30 days from the start of the policy.She then told me she was leaving the conversation.I feel mislead and ripped off.I want my money back. I also want other potential customers to be aware of he misleading exclusions and tactics this company uses.

    Recently I had to take my 2022 ****** Highlander Platinum Hybrid into the dealership for a windshield. Having purchased the Smart Program, it was a very easy process. $50.00 deductible, they even provided the original ****** Windshield. Calibration was performed after the windshield was replaced. I think the lane assist works better now than it had previously. Hassle free, and great work by my service representative.

    The Smart Program is a deceipt....a waste of money. The advertising makes it sound like all minor scratches and dents will be fixed, but when you take your car in, nothing is really covered. It is only a way of getting vehicles into the Ming Shops so they can increase their business, as far as I can figure!

    Hi ******, we are sorry to hear our program was not to your level of expectations. According to our agreement, Schedule 6: Plan B imperfections that are too deep (e.g., through the primer coat or to sheet metal surface) are excluded. Unfortunately your accident was so severe that we would recommend contacting your insurance company. Our pre-paid service agreement is only for minor cosmetic repairs.

    I was so impressed with the work done on my car door to remove a dent and also for fixing two rock chips in my windshield. From the time I contacted ******************* to repairs done - it was less than 3 days. I will recommend smartprogram to all my friends and family and always buy it on my new cars. Great service.
