    My fiancé ***** and I signed a contract on May 3rd 2022 to hold our wedding at Polar Park Brewing Company on July 8th 2023. This day we sent a deposit of $2887.50 to the business.
    On August 20th I came across a post on social media stating that Polar Park Brewing had been shut down. I confirmed this myself by driving to the business, and saw an eviction notice on the door.
    The business had never reached out to us letting us know they had cancelled our booking. We have asked the owner *** twice for our deposit back via e-mail, and he gave us vague answers like, "we are working on it" and "we will be receiving investments next week to go towards deposits." - this was in September. We did not receive our money back.
    Yesterday when we e-mailed again, we got an automatic response stating that the e-mail was no longer valid. I have reached out to them again on social media with no response.
    We are looking to get this large sum of money back, and do not know where to start.
