Extremely dissatisfied with this company. Hired to replace upper portion of driveway and new sidewalk in Spring 2021. By the end of that year, sidewalk was cracking. Tried to contact in 2022 by email, texts and phone calls, finally getting a response in August with a promise to come check out the problem as now the driveway was also cracking.Never did appear and now its Spring 2023. He has promised twice since March this year but again did not bother to keep his word.So now I have cracks which *********** get bigger and longer and once we are back in winter an even bigger problem will begin. Why should I have to deal with a sub standard job and pay someone else to make the repair when I already have spent $3500 . This needs to be corrected. Iris M

I do not recommend Pete's Concrete. They did a nice job of a front sidewalk but it started cracking, mostly diagonally at corners, within a year.. Based on the nice work in front (before cracks) we hired them to build us a garage, which would have been okay except for the concrete driveway: it is so steep that it cannot be used for lower-slung vehicles (my husband's *** scrapes horribly on the way up the slope) and is absolutely treacherous in winter. The whole driveway has to be kept pristine to be useable, and the grade (up to ****% in some spots) makes this very dangerous: I cannot use the snowblower on it, and when I clear the snow manually I slide off even while wearing steel cleats. Any freeze-thaw cycle makes it even worse. I did my best to point out some potential issues during the build (hoping to prevent just this sort of situation) but **** rationalized everything, or put the blame on someone else. He took responsibility for absolutely none of the above issues; there was no discussing any of this with him at the time. So, for our own safety, we are now (5 years after the initial build) having to demolish and rebuild that entire project, at considerable expense. Given the above issues I would recommend against using Pete's Concrete.
