    I paid for renovations to my home in the fall of 2024. These renovations included;New luxury vinyl plank flooring, refinishing and painting of my current cupboards in the home, new quartz countertops, and baseboards that were to be sanded and painted per agreement. I spent a total of $15,000 on my renovations. Near the end of the project, there had been some problems with the new luxury vinyl plank installation- my contractor black hyena construction- was aware of the problem and attempted to fix it. They were unable to and were scheduled to come back a number of times, but had rescheduled. My corresponding text messages essentially went on for months and months. My flooring is now lifting in multiple spots in every room on my main floor. I have been in contact and was told that they are in *********** and not able to help me. I threatened with filing a complaint with the BBB as well as small claims court if they could not repair or replace the flooring. I was told that there is nothing more that they could do on that. The installation was not their fault. At no time did any other contractor install or alter the flooring that I had put in . I am now in a situation where I cannot list my home for sale because of the problems with the flooring, and I am unable to schedule a repair or a replacement as a contractor has stopped returning any of my messages. Essentially, I am out $10,000 worth of flooring done in my home.

    I do not have a physical address for the business - but would be willing to go to a registry to get it. I do a supposed registered GST number that he gave me in in one of his estimates.
