    We hosted an event at The Foundry Room on June 6th, 2024. We paid in advance for food, beverage, furniture, staff and AV. The ** did not work, there was not enough food for our attendees (it was plated dinner service, so this is very noticeable), and service was so slow to the point that the event concluded before coffee even made it to the tables. I have outlined below what has been requested from the venue for the refund, with receipts and contracts. This has been going on for nine (9) months, with **** now no longer responding to my emails.

    On April 22, 2024, my Fiance and I entered a contract with Foundry Room for our wedding at the venue "OEX 2" in ********, ******. Services included wedding planning, event venue and rentals, bartending, catering, DJ, linens, and decor items.We paid a $4,379.06 deposit of the $17,500 contract. On November 16, 2024, Foundry Room was evicted as a tenant of the space we had rented due to failure to pay rent, and the space was rented to a long term tenant. We have since procured a new venue and paid a second deposit to the building owner. We have been requesting a meeting with the owner (**** *******) since November 2024. She has not met with us nor returned phone calls.We have asked multiple times for details on the status of the services that are included in the contract. These details were not provided, so we asked for our deposit to be refunded on January 18, 2025. We have not heard from Foundry Room since that date. We would like assistance in getting our deposit returned.

    Hello. My fiance and I booked a venue for our wedding reception at the Foundry Room on August 13, 2024. Recently they have been evicted out of the building and had sent emails out stating so, and that they would be refunding all money if requested. We did request the refund and have been emailing back and forth with them. We have written confirmation from them that they would be giving us our refund of $750 before December 22, 2024. We have still not received our refund and since, they have stopped responding to us and ignoring our phone calls. I have attached photos of an email chain with them with evidence that they had agreed to a refund, and that they have not been responding to us.
