    Date: June 2022
Job: Ceiling leak repair, covered by insurance.
    Dispute:
    - Did not complete the job, ceiling not replaced and cabinets not yet reinstalled
    - Tried to upsell on landscaping before completing the job, pressured to accept,
    - Overcharged on tile (quoted 300$ and asked for 1450$ more)
    - Made us purchase tile for 400$ and did not reimburse,
    - Unpredictable work schedule: did not tell me when they would arrive,
    - Started work after 5pm, even after I requested they come earlier in the day.
    - Significant delays (6 months without a functional kitchen),
    - Damaged stove top and hood fan, they are non-functional,
    - Used our living room as an office, feet on furniture
    - Left construction materials outside our front door
    - Repeatedly asked for more payment (I paid a deductible of 2000$ on first day and said the insurance check would be cashed at the end of the job).
    - Texted me on a Friday afternoon asking to go to the bank to cash the check because they could not make payroll (they had not started my job yet),
    - On two occasions, scheduled work days but did not show up. Said they forgot. On one occasion, I had arranged to be out of the house for a week for ceiling repair. They did not show up or apologise for the inconvenience to my family.
    - When I asked to reschedule my ceiling repair, ******* asked me to give him some money.
    - I now have an insurance check I cannot cash because ******* insisted it is in the name of Alberta Restoration Services. If I go to another company, I will have to pay out of pocket.
    Total estimate: see attached.
Total paid: 2000$ in June, purchased tile in October for about 400$
