Abarent Construction repaired * major cracks in our foundation in September 2020. Our contract/invoice has a ** year warranty.Aug. ****, 202* ***************************, President of the company, visited our house and confirmed that * of the cracks they repaired were leaking and would be fixed under warranty.Aug. ****, 202*, we emailed asking for a date of when the warranty repairs could be done. The response was he would "get back to us once he could".Sept. ***, 202*, we emailed again asking how the progress was. No answer.Sept. ****, 202*, we emailed again. We asked for communication of when the warranty repair could be booked. The response was the answer to that was "a moving target".Nov. **rd, 202* (after continued zero initiated contact from Abarent and no snow had begun), we emailed asking when the warranty repair could be done. The response was "likely within the next two weeks". Didn't hear anything after that.Dec. ****, 202* we emailed asking if a date had been selected. No response.Jan. ***, 2024 we emailed with the same question. No response and out of office until Jan. *0th, 2024.During the spring, we resorted to calling the office and eventually were told by their administrator that we would be 'on the job board' and booked as soon as there were * days in a row above zero degrees Celsius. **** *rd, 2024 resorted back to emailing and asked about the booking. No response. Same with **** **** and July ***.July ****, 2024 a phone call comes from their office stating a team would arrive that very morning to repair the cracks. Essentially no notice given. The team arrives, repairs * of the * cracks that were leaking. We tried emailing and calling to have the excavation site expanded by * foot to include the *** crack. Couldn't get a hold of *****. Crew left. The *** crack continues to fail water tests. And now we are back in the cycle of Abarent ignoring communication and we still have 1 crack leaking that is under warranty. Hello,

We had reviewed the leaking crack issue with the client in 2023, measured the area where they were located and agreed that that area would be re-repaired.  We performed that warranty repair in **** 2024.  The client informed us that there was still an issue with another fracture as he wanted us to excavate further down the wall.  We agreed that we would do that and when a schedule opening was available we would let him know, and that it may be short notice.  What I can commit to is that I will have a crew out to his house with a minimum of 1 full days notice before the end of October/24 to excavate and repair the area that he specifies by marking the wall.

    Regards,

    ***************************, President
