    Our animal hospital hired GCCI Canada for contracting work including a floor repair from a sinking concrete base, HVAC concerns, plumbing issues, and some interior renovations to re-develop our usable space. They performed a substandard job in many areas which has involved us having to pay additional out of pocket expenses to fix these despite the agreement that the original work would have a warranty period. The contractor went well over quote despite multiple discussions about our financial limitations on the project. The contractor agreed to come in to repair deficiencies including the failed floor near the end of 2022 and later sent a bill for these repairs. No quote for deficiency repairs was ever given and we were under the impression this was warranty work under the original renovation. We did not pay this invoice and attempted to discuss this with the contractor leading to the contractor sending a higher bill for supposed things they did not bill for on the previous renovation with an interest charge. The most recent floor repair has already failed and is causing a safety hazard for our staff members.

    We have multiple emails and receipts for bills and can compile this to add to our complaint. We just felt it was necessary to get the compliant started to prevent this from happening to another unsuspecting client.
