Worst experience ever. Shoddy workmanship. Inaccurate quote. Did not fulfill expectations. Contractor left town without finishing job. Took 8 months to do instead of 3. Owner very difficult. Contractor never cleaned up after himself. I absolutely do NOT recommend using them

The quote was very accurate however the client has tastes that far exceeded her budget so constant upgrades to the project exceeded the original quote and her budget. The client used her own painter, which slowed the project down by two-plus months. Supply chain issues due to COVID also contributed to the project delays. The job was completed all deficiencies are corrected at the prescribed project checkup date. Deficiencies are common which is why there are two scheduled follow visits prior to the twelve-month period to correct any and all deficiencies.

The owner is a real piece of work! I can send photos of the "deficiencies" that are NOT corrected. The painter was only given two days to do the project but that was totally unrealistic. The painter works for many renovation companies and he is always scheduled the proper amount of time. He had to stain doors, bulkheads, plus paint. He is NOT the reason the job was overdue. That is a big lie. He did have to delay two days as his family was ill. Yes I did upgrade but the company quoted $165 for backsplash....of course I'm going to upgrade that. I ended up having to buy my own bathroom mirrors (not included apparently), my own backsplash, my own bathroom lighting, and my own storage. I was very upfront about my requirements for storage and that NEVER happened. The owner gave me $500 credit to hire my own handyman and I ended up paying that to the contractor to finish his job but because I still owed $1000+ the owner directed him not to come back which I find reprehensible. They didn't even tell me. That should not have been part of the equation since as far as the owner is concerned they were done with the project and I hired the contractor "privately" so he should have come on the day he said he would to put the toe kicks in for the cupboard, put back the baseboards by the utility door etc. The contractor put in a 28 inch door which clearly they know is not up to code. The "painter" had to stain that door for nothing and at extra cost to him because of that error. They replaced it with a cheap door and tell me I will get the replacement door at the six month check....seriously....that means the painter has to stain the new door ... again an extra cost. The handrail was not up to code. The contractor came and added a piece...did not even match the rest of the rail...and I have pictures to prove how bad that turned out. Still failed. So I had to hire someone else to come in and actually do a professional job. Another added cost to me. So when I say the quote is not accurate I mean that they quoted the cheapest prices they could and of course I upgraded. I don't mind that but when I spend double the amount on cupboards I expect them to be installed properly. The bulkheads didn't match the cupboard so why on earth would I accept that. Then the contractor took it off and chipped the top of the pantry cupboard and the solution was to "paint" the chips. There are two other chips as well. I did not cause those chips yet I am supposed to accept that simply painting them is good enough. Who else would ever accept that! The caulking is splitting in the bathroom which he was supposed to do on his last day here. The caulking on the stairwell is very sloppy and unprofessional. I asked for two niches in the shower and only got one. Other contractors tell me that they should have put that second niche in at no cost to me. Not my fault they missed it...but again I settled because I just don't want to deal with them ever again. When I contacted the owner he was not interested in keeping the customer satisfied at all. Hence I would NEVER recommend them .. I had a renovation done in ******* that was very smooth and no issues at all so I know the difference between a good company and a shoddy company.I could go on and on but I will stop here.
