My bad. I signed the work order and paid the OUTRAGEOUS price of over $600 for no more than 20 minutes of on-site work to repair 2 Casement windows. $195 for labor plus $125 per hour plus $137 service call. Absolutely terrible service. I had to point out something the guy missed. And he didn't even clean the work area. AVOID this business. Not worth even one star.Lock Surgeon

This is a scam company. We brought our lock cylinder into their store go get a price to re-key it. They quoted almost $400 for a simple 15 minute job. We got two other quotes from real locksmiths and they were $50 and $30. This company is taking advantage of people and should go out of business. Stay away from these scammers!Lock Surgeon

When i called their automated message indicate that there would be a $129 callout fee which i was ok with. However, what they failed to mention was that there was a minimum $195 fee to do any work. so in reality the minimum cost for them to do anything is $324.00 the scope of the work needed was about 10min (their tech did it in about 5min). Yes I could have declined the work, but i was already in for the $129 so i was already committed. At any rate their messaging is fraudulent as the imply something that isn't true - they also indicate that Quotes are free - but how can it be free if there is a $129 fee to come regardless of whether any work is done. and they don't tell you that there is a minimum charge of $195. This is a terrible business practice and as stated I believe it is fraudulent and unscrupulous!Lock Surgeon

Hi Lock surgeon runs an extremely professional business and is very clear and transparent with pricing. The people answering the phones are professional project coordinators. They are not locksmiths and therefore can not give pricing over the phone besides the service call to site. Yes our automated message that every customer listens to indicates there is a $129 travel fee. It lists what this fee covers - vehicle, tool, gas, insurance, trained technician time to site. Its then goes on to say: "Specific concerns can only be addressed by a technician on site. please discuss pricing with service technician on site. This clearly indicates there will be additional costs. How much we do not know until an assessment is completed.It also mentions that while Quotes are free. There is always travel to site fee. This travel fee covers the costs listed above. We could not possibly be any clearer.The quote is free - the professional technician with many years of apprenticeship training meets the customer on site, reviews issues with customer, provides solutions and a quote to go with them. Customer is not charged for this time = Free Quote .The customers complaint has no validity to it. Thank you,
