On Monday September 9 I went with my cousin to try to pickup a phone brought into Mobile Care a year ago. (Mobile care: ******************************************************************************************************. Phone: ************). Customer has been calling to find out when she could pick up phone since dropped off a year ago. Employee keeps stating that its in the back but cannot find it. This was a borrowed phone. My cousin had a stroke, lives in ******, cant drive, needs her phone for medical appointments. A year ago! So we get to the store to ask employee to look in the back for the phone. No no cant do it. Too much in the back. There is no compensation for the lost phone just excuses. (Spoke with Tabil). We leave frustrated. We shop then go back to the store after a couple of hours so I can pick up a business card. Remarkably it has been found. Employee is fixing. Said he lost phone number. Both my cousins landline and mobile phone numbers are taped to the package! (?). He tells me the price and I ask for compensation as it was lost for a year. Goes on phone with manager. Takes $20 off. I state that Im unhappy with this. Employee says that is all he can do. We pay. I ask for manager. Hes in tomorrow. (Manager:*****). I call Tues to speak with *****. No hes not in. Saturday hes in. So Im getting the run around. What I would like is the company to reimburse the entire bill (about $74), then we will walk away like it never happened. Cousin on **** - disabled had stroke. The company is taking advantage of customers. Frustrated. Can you help?

Invoice paid by ***** **** **** as per invoice attached.   Cost is $78.75 and not $74 as I originally stated.  Older/used phone originally owned by ******** ******* (my sister and cousin to ***** ****).   Contact with the mobile company was completed only by ***** ****.  She had tried multiple times to get it back but it was lost in the back.  On the day she did pick it up, ***** ****, ******** and myself went into the store.

This complaint arose from a purchase from the mobile care shop. On april 14th 2023 at 3:25 pm I purchased a ten inch A 7 lite Samsung case along with some other products. I was told by the owner at the time that if there were any issues I could simply walk into any of the mobile care sites within the next 7 days and it would be taken care of as they were all one franchise. He assured me that as I was from Calgary I would have no problem in their stores as long as I had my receipt with me. When I arrived home I discovered that the model of the case was correct but. The size was wrong. I went to a mobile care center in Calgary. And was promptly told that since the franchises were individually owned, there was nothing they could do. I would have to return to Edmonton to point of purchase. This owner in Edmonton that sold me the case knew this and committed fraud just for a sale. He also misrepresented his stores and franchises policies for that sale
