I wish that I could do a zero star, I just need to warn everyone of their horrible service. Sold me a car with no A/C, it wasnt check before selling it to me in December, fair enough, but now are refusing to fix it because its been over 6 months (by only a few weeks). While A/c might not be necessary to sell a car, this should have been disclosed, I will also add that I bought a 2020 Forester (for over $30 000) so you can imagine my surprise when the Ac didnt work and Subaru city wont do anything about that. On top of the my brake pads only have 2mm left, this was checked and signed off of when I bought it (due to Amvic regulations) they are telling me its my fault, and that I brake to hard and have worn them out. Incredibly rude accusation (Made by ******* in service). I have had many cars and never had to replace the brake pads before so wearing them out in 6 months seems insane. They are not diligent in their inspections, which is a huge safety concern, and on top of that are incredibly hard to get a hold of, I havent been able to speak with a sales manager of my original salesperson, getting a hold of service was a nightmare, I just kept being passed from one hold to the other. Phone called were left unreturned (specifically by sales manager ****) They go out of their way to make me feel useless and like a waste of their time. Buying this car was a disaster in itself, I would never come back here, their financing department has also continuously wasted my time, not showing up to sceduled meetings etc . Have had fantastic experiences with Rally Subaru if you are looking for a Subaru dealership in ********.

Not sure about buying a car, but the service ** **** *****. Charged $700 for something that didnt even come close to fixing. Told me it was under warranty for their work, so brought it in again, and charged me over $200 to look at it and confirm that they didnt fix the issue. At the same time tried to add in a $600+ head light buld. I would never come again, or recommend to anyone.

Good to deal with until an issue arises, then you will be dealt with rudely!!! We recently had our subaru serviced here, and upon picking up the vehicle, noticed that the passenger door had a dent on it that wasn't there previously. They would NOT assume any responsibility and did not even discuss how they could work with us to resolve this issue. Very poorly handled and we ended up paying out of pocket to get this fixed. We will NEVER be using them again. Our daughter was going to purchase an outback from there, not not anymore. Very poor service.

As ******, I also bought a promotion for winter tires set with rim being life time free service swap. Well, for my surprise, when I had the job done today, the service worker **** said I had to pay $79.95. She said since this new manager took charge, this promotion has been discontinued. I explained that I have never received any news about it, and she said this information was sent to customers. I inquired her if I knew such thing, I would go back there, and she just said sorry. I inquired about manager, and she said he was not there. Strange is last year I had my tires swapped and nothing was charged, as the primary deal agreements determined. First I want to know where and when this notice was sent and why the life time swap deal was cancelled? This is considered fake propaganda. As I customer, I demand my rights on it. This is not the first time I have problems with Subaru City Services. I hope proper clarifications can be provided. Minimum, I supposed to have my money back.

Absolutely brutal. Found a 18 allroad that I was searching for. Pics show car in great shape. I show up to test drive and look at car. First impression, the car is filthy on outside, oh well I'll overlook it. Then I see where someone from their staff backed the car into something and damaged the car. I was told " well it's ********, what can you do". Then I see the windshield is cracked completely. I get in to test drive, car is dirty inside, has 40km to empty because God forbid they put any gas in. I tell them I was onterested till I saw damage, and they call me later that night saying they will fix it and replace windshield. Fast fwd a week later, I get a call to say car is ready. I show up, cars not ready. Windshield isn't replaced but damaged 1/4 panel is repaired. They are going to order the qindshield, 2nd time I've heard this. Another week and I call, and once again nobody has a clue about windshield. I'm paying out of pocket to get the windshield repaired because I refuse to go back there now. Bottom line, service is trash and I will never go back. I'd advise you don't waste your time or money.

Today I had a winter tire changeover appointment. When I made the appointment I informed the service desk that the tire swap was free of charge as was the selling point of purchasing the winter rims in 2020. This is the only reason that I purchased the rims from this dealership. When I dropped off the keys for the swap, I was told this free of charge tire swap was no longer in effect, because the ownership changed hands last November/22. I was at this dealership for a swap on November 28th/22 and was not told of the change in ownership or policies. This was a simple tires on rims changeover. I spoke with the service manager to complain and was told that the previous owners had told them that they informed all their customers about the changes and that the new ownership would no longer honour any prior agreements. I was not informed. He asked me if I had in writing. I told him I would check. It is not documented on the original rims receipt but I have receipts from previous changeovers that were free. I would not have made the appointment knowing this as I could have paid much less elsewhere. $79.95 + $10.66 for service materials. What service materials, I asked...tires on rims for tire on rims? 1 hour and 45 minutes later...they had time to inspect my vehicle and determine $845.99 of additional services to be completed, which I did not ask for. Is this part of the $10.66 service materials charge? I was told they were government fees are are required...again for a tires on rims changeover??? I tried to file a complaint to Subaru ****** **** but their online submission form is currently unavailable. Tomorrow I will try calling the ***** number to see I can leave file an official complaint, as that seems to be the only way left to do so.

My husband and myself went to purchase a new Subaru at Subaru City, the sales person we had was excellent. Our problem came with manager. We were wanting to buy a vehicle with cash and no trade in. The manager said they would not sell us the car unless we had a trade in. The manager, insisted that we had to have a trade in to buy the car. It seems ridiculous that they were not willing to take our money. So we took our business elsewhere. We will never buy anything from that Subaru dealership again.
