This was absolutely the worst vehicle buying experience I've ever heard about, let alone been involved in. On behalf of my girlfriend, she had agreed in principle to purchase a vehicle two days ago, on Wednesday. So much so that she had put $1000 down to hold the vehicle, then brought another $4000 cash as the rest of her down payment, and handed it over. Then she went to financing, where the terms of the deal were not what she had agreed to, and the purchase price would have been $7000 more than what she had been told. Three hours later, they refused to change the terms of the deal, and refused to provide anything extra to meet the difference in price. She was willing to walk away, but out of nowhere they couldn't get her deposit, or down payment, out of the safe because the person responsible had gone home for the day. And they couldn't get it back the next day, it would have to be two days later.Fast forward to two days later, today, Friday, and she goes in to get her deposit and down payment back. She's currently there, and has been there for over three hours, without her money. They've finally brought the terms back to the original discussed term, but are still refusing to provide any extras for all the time she has WASTED with them. This is absolutely an abysmal, useless way to do business. I would not recommend anyone go there to purchase a vehicle. I absolutely will not take my Toyota to them for even servicing.

January 28, 2023 Horrible customer service from this dealership, sales manager ******* talks down to customers, not even sure how he is even a sales manager when he doesn't even know what he is even talking about yet he goes on like he does. They cancel my deal due to reaching out to Toyota ****** about the status of my vehicle, and dealer fees that Toyota ****** posted on their website which is now forced onto the customer when I wasn't paying for it before. They claim Im not happy with a so called friends and family deal, sorry but you only got my deposit and gave me that deal because you were up against 2 other dealers that were offering the SAME deal. If you want happy customers to purchase vehicles from you than practice what you preach. My deposit is 100% fully refundable, dont make it seem like you were doin anyone any favours. If you dont believe it, then maybe you yourself should read your own contracts and stipulations. My deal what for a 2022 RAV4 hybrid, you didnt deliver, but nice try. But that's ok, I have another vehicle with a much better dealership that doesn't belittle customers, was always unsure about Go auto dealers, but Toyota on the Trail sure does confirm to not deal with Go auto

Caveat Emptor - Buyer Beware I responded to an ad for a 2023 Rav 4 XLE listed at $ ******. I contacted the dealership and verified the price was all inclusive save and except GST and financing charges. I also confirmed it was in stock and available for delivery. We drove from ******* to Toyota on the Trail in ******** only to find out that the actual cost was going to be $ ******. Given we were planning to pay in cash, we were informed we would have to post an additional $ ****** deposit for 8 months to ensure we didn't sell or export the vehicle. I walked away unscathed less my travel and hotel expenses. I filed an bait and switch advertising complaint with ***** and am planning a further complaint with the *******************

I purchased my car in October 2020 from Toyota on the Trail, and recently took my car in to get serviced and have the block heater checked, as I paid extra to have it installed. Over the past two weeks, I had my car boosted twice and had to replace the battery. When I inquired if the block heater was working considering the frequency of issues with starting my vehicle and its relatively new age, I was continually pestered to articulate how the block heater and battery could possibly be connected. The service manager smirked when I answered his unnecessary questions about the mechanics of my car that were only asked because I am a woman and to discredit any concern that I had. After clarifying that my warranty on my block heater was for two years, I cancelled my service appointment and asked to just have the block heater checked. The individual who completed the initial walk-around was nothing short of patronizing, hostile, and argued with me about every single question that I had regarding the warranty from the start of my interaction. I walked into the dealership and was walking around looking at vehicles and calling someone on the phone, when the same man walked in behind me and said, "you wait over there and I will get you when I'm done." I snapped back due to the unnecessary attempt to show his power and waited for 45 minutes (after my car had been checked 30 minutes prior). Within this period of time, I found this man openly laughing and talking about me in the service manager's office while I watched. I finally found the same individual (I came to him), confirmed that the previous battery was defective (which I knew) and verified that the block heater was working. My car was left running with the windows down, the keys were not inside and the plastic was left on my driver's seat. I can confirm that I have never been treated so disrespectfully by any auto dealership and caution anyone from ever giving any future business to this service department.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP TO BUY A VEHICLE!! They are unscrupulous and their dealings are coercive. They had a 2023 black Tundra SR5 crewcab advertised for $62, 998. I called to enquire about the truck as I wanted to purchase it by paying cash. I spoke to ********************* a product advisor (salesman) on the morning of Dec 10, 2023. He wanted me to give them a $10,000 retainer with the purchase of the truck. Since when did dealerships start doing this? I asked him why he required the retainer. He told me the retainer was to prevent people from selling vehicles. He also told me I would get the retainer back after I brought the truck back to them for service. Doesn't this sound like black mail?? Since when did dealerships start doing this? I have been buying new Toyota vehicles since **** and have never had to do this. He also added on an extended warranty and a tire warranty *********** Tire Protection) that I would have to pay in the price of the truck. These were non negotiable!! Extra warranties/extra protection are usually offered to the consumer to purchase. They are not forced on the consumer to purchase in order to buy the vehicle. THIS IS SO WRONG!! I am so happy I never proceeded to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. Totally unbelieveable!! I think Toyota makes very good vehicles. They do not need dealerships like this to tarnish their reputation. So Sad!! I have referred this to the Better Business Bureau which I hope will investigate this.

We ordered a car and signed a contract and then after 3 months of waiting the car came in. I went into sign financing documents and underdress they bullied me into $7,000 of extra's. After saying no 4 times the finance guy told me the more money you borrow the lower the interest rate and implied that he could not get the numbers to work unless I borrowed more money and that added the option would only make a 3 dollar a payment difference. So underdress I agreed to the wheel protection and the window coverage. When the documents came he had all the additional services were on the contact for a total of $7196.00. At this point I should have said no but he made it sound like I would not get financing unless this was on there. As I was driving way it hit me what had happened. Do not buy a vehicle from these guys. They are horrible to deal with.

My son inquired about a 2015 Land Rover and asked about modification which they made and he requested that they send him an updated Carfax and a copy of the modifications agreed on. He made a deposit, but never received the Carfax update or the modification. When he requested the deposit be refunded they refused. When they were informed that a consumer has a legal amount of time to cancel a contract they still refused to refund his deposit. The sales man called him with the revised deal late at night( 9pm) and he responded "That sound better more comfortable with that" but the next day Toyota took that as agreement to the new revised contract which they NEVER sent to him...... Their unwillingness to refund his refund brings the word Shady to mind
