    I leased a car from there. The car came without some features agreed upon such as mud flaps, 3MM paint protector, hitch. I have tried calling severally to book an appointment to have this installed but they respond by saying someone will get back to me but no one does.

    I had been in contact with a sales person for several days via text, email and phone. We had wanted to lease a 2024 Santa Fe Hybrid, and had a trade in. We had done a pre approval for a lease before we went into the dealership, and had high hopes to walk out with the vehicle that we wanted. When we arrived, we were seated in a small office. Our sales rep was 20 minutes late to see us, as he was not told we were there. In these 20 minutes, my husband and I listened to 2 associates and a manager banter back and forth about inappropriate things, swear, and completely ignore all the customers. Once our sales associate finally came to meet us, he had the wrong vehicle approved, didnt make it a lease as asked, and forgot to add in our trade in. He really had no idea what he was doing, and had to keep checking in with management as he couldnt answer any of our questions. He then threw Hyundai Canada under the bus for having a different price listed for the vehicle that we wanted, and bashed a different Hyundai dealership when we compared the numbers. So.he had the wrong vehicle, for the wrong price, with the wrong financing in place. I would NEVER go back to this dealership as the staff I encountered all seemed incompetent.

    West Edmonton Hyundai is a SCAM beware, everyone there is in on it, ************************ the Manager, *** and every other staff, they trick you into signing documents($32,000 for a ***** CX-5), then give you an updated document with a higher number($45,667), they were also so rude after the alarm was raised about the ***** Beware of this Organization.

    Ive dealt with numerous unethical practices. I discovered that the service department drilled out a rust spot on the inside of the door leaving unpainted bare metal, which would result in more rust. They didnt even try to use touch up paint. Even though, I made morning appts., they wouldnt work on my car until end of the day and wouldnt wash it b/c they said they ran out of time. When Covid precautions lifted, no one bothered to say that they didnt offer shuttle service anymore. They were not apologetic, I was rudely told to pay for a cab or Uber or wait. **************** at this dealership is the worst I have ever dealt with. Alberta has ALL in pricing, which means dealerships CANNOT add any costs to the advertised price. In Alberta dealerships are also not allowed to push maintenance work that isnt required. Mileage doesnt always dictate what work a vehicle requires. You are only obligated to do work that the manufacturer recommends for YOUR vehicle. West Ed *********************** tells everyone that they have to pay hundreds of dollars for expensive maintenance even if its not required for every vehicle. When I advised the service manager of this law, he said the service agreements are with them, not Hyundai. The law doesnt change based on who makes the agreement! They are forcing people to pay for unnecessary work, which isnt legal or ethical! All service departments, dealerships and private mechanics are obligated to follow the law. Despite telling a sales employee that I was NOT interested in selling my car, and to please stop calling me, I continued to be harassed by text messages and letters wanting me to sell my vehicle back to them. I would never purchase another vehicle from this dealership. It doesnt matter if this dealership has new ownership, if the same immoral employees are still working for them.

    Well the dealer received my Hyundai Ioniq 5 and when I went into the dealership and spoke with financing. She told me that they were waiting on an answer from the dealerships owner in regards to the 5K ****************** EV rebate. According to her, the dealership has been having issues collecting the money back from the government with some of the rebates being denied and them being left on the hook for up to 5K. She gave no specific info on which EV's were denied.The reasoning they gave me was that the 2023 model that I am getting is more expensive than the 2022 I ordered. I pointed out that the iZEV program was updated and that the car does qualify and even Hyundai ****** shows the full rebate available.As a work around, She proposed that she would give me the rebate if I take 5K of my deposit and give it to them to hold until they get their money from the government or they will keep it if they get denied.She told me it can take them months to get the rebates if approved and I would have to let the vehicle sit if the owner says no and I refuse to let them hold onto my 5k.Emails are not responded to.Buy elsewhere.
