    My husband and I paid ****** ********* from Genuine Skirting & Decorative Panels three installments for new skirting to be put on our mobile trailer. Installments: June 9, 2023 for $800.00, August 18, 2023 for $2500.00, and August 19, 2023 for $2328.00. The total invoice amount was $5627.48... we overpaid by a few cents.
    We made numerous calls and texts asking when he was coming. He never came. He would contact us and ask for another month, and then that date would come, and then he would ask for more time, always asking for more time. We feel like we have been ******* out of a lot of money. We have copies of every text and email if you need it. Winter is coming and we needed this skirting done to prevent the pipes from freezing. He would not respond to our texts or emails for weeks at a time. We just want our money back so we can pay some one else to do it.
    He uses a few different contacts: email: ******************** *************************. *** ***** ******* * ************ *** ************* He has numerous excuses such as he feel through a roof, or a situation has arose that he can not get to it. The latest excuse was something has come up, and will not be able to get to our skirting till November the earliest. Winter is here by then. We just want our money back. Simple. My hubby is a a first responder and he worked many over time shifts just to get this done. Beyond frustrated.

    I'm responding to this complaint I received payment for 800 on June then waited for payment for three months for the skirting package to be paid the package is ready for delivery but I got really sick and couldn't do the install I did not want to be paid for the install till job was done as I have text stating that after waiting 3 months as soon as he paid for package he demanded I do the skirting job but the schedule I have for work was booked up as my company got really busy and could not do it as I received 3 huge contracts and was booked up I will give skirting package to them and return the install money

    I am rejecting this response because: this is not what we agreed too. We agreed to having material and install. My hubby is a Wildland Firefighter who is extremally busy, and to be quite honest has no knowledge on how to install. Hence why we want a refund. I did contact 2 construction companies and they will not even touch the job using his material, because they do not know how it was measured or how this company installs their product. So we would have to take a loss on the material and pay another company for material and install. I understand that the contractor waited for the first payment, we had to save. Once we started to save, we paid in full, if he knew that the time was an issue then he should not have accepted the money, or sent it back immediately and been honest. We sent it all in good faith paid in full by the end of August. That is 2 months now. To be fair, we would allow him to come install the skirting in the next two weeks, which is about 10-11 weeks of being paid in full, other wise I do not think a full refund is unreasonable. We are trying to be accommodating and work with him, but it seems its an excuse after excuse as you seen. "HE got sick", we all get sick, "he had a situation come up", we all have situations come up. We have had an death in our family and that money would have come in handy to pay for the funeral if we knew that the contract work was not going to be done.
