      A former bookkeeper for the business I work at paid an invoice for a donation invoice. Since I took over I have received at least 4 'Past Due' invoices in about a year for the same.I sent a letter explaining that this was paid and proof of payment (canceled cheque) and the past due notices still come.I feel this is on purpose in hopes people will forget they paid and will pay again, or make an additional contribution.I have doubts that this really does benefit the local hospital from other reports I have read as well.
