      The Original Liberty Security was great! Awesome people to deal with, then everything went to hell. They sold out to some place called ***** ***** and everything went down the sewer. In 2024 they claimed they needed to "upgrade" our hardware to a newer standard, a date was set for the 17th. We sat and waited an no one showed up. We thought ok so it's not that important and left it. They phoned back and claimed the "upgrade" was very important, and a date was set for December 8th. Again, no one showed, no phone call, no email, NO CONTACT at all. Then again on or about the 18th, they called and claimed it NEEDED to be done. Another date at the end of December was set up and once again, no one showed. Then on the 28th or 29, of December they called and yet another date was set in January. THEN we get a call claiming the tech had issues with his car and would not be coming. At this point we realized that something was seriously wrong with this company and requested an immediate cancellation of the service and all monitoring. Even after they had verified us several times by phone, the initial request was accepted, then they called some time later and informed us they needed written consent in the form of an email. We sent the email, and thought the issue was closed. FAR FROM IT. Apparently in January, they didn't take their automatic payment as the issues of the account was in limbo as we were still on outdated equipment, for what ever reason, the automatic payment was stopped and NOT by us. Then in February, they took a payment for an account that was ended in January. We decided at that time, to put a stop payment on Liberty. Some 5 or 6 days later Liberty? returned the payment to us. This is when the hassle and bullying started, they now claimed we owed them for 2 months, but admitted that the equipment was inferior. Even though they had made 4 attempts to change the equipment and failed to show all four times. Do not deal with them!

      I DO NOT RECCOMEND LIBERTY SECURITYI had a 5 YEAR CONTRACT and months before the Contract was up i contacted Liberty security to go over what i needed to do to close the Contract. They explained that 1 month before the contract is up i needed to contact them. My wife and i were in the room when i spoke with Liberty, i called April 26th 2024,1 month before the contract was up and was ASSURED that there would be no charges after May 2024. In July I was checking CC statement and saw that there were charges from Liberty. I called very upset and Liberty told me that they didn't receive a cancellation letter. They did not tell me in the other 2 times i called that i needed to send a cancellation letter. Liberty said i was told. WHICH IS A LIE, i am computer literate and would have sent an e mail ASAP. Liberty Security refuses to reimburse me my money !! Im so glad i caught their scam before they got more money out of me.!!       unprofessional staff and difficult to work with when trying to terminate services, The process dragged on for 7 months and they continued to charge even after their equipment was disconnected. Very frustrating organization to do business with.

      Be aware of their sites tactics and false promises. I had a good installation in my first home and agreed to a term with them whereas the first 8 months were free of the term. I also signed my in laws up so got another 2 months free. I also received another free month because I moved the system myself to my second home. To make sure they were honest I set a reminder calendar up for the last day of term. Sales person also said I would initially pay $87.00 per month and after term was reduced to $35.00 per month which I agreed to but tbh wasnt written contract. When term was up I phoned to get rate reduced as they were still charging $87.00. They told me that my contract was not up for another few months. I recently canceled the day that they were to take next months payment and they said they have a 30 day cancellation policy so no refund on last payment which is minor but complete money grab. Be aware when the sales people are selling you free months, even though I verified, many of this free months were not off the term, they just moved the contract term further down the line. System worked fine other than a few glitches but I will never trust this company again. Make sure you get everything in writing on the contract and hopefully have better luck.

      Trying to cancel this service and they say you are locked into a contract that I can't get out of. They also say that they will take me to collections if I do not just keep using this unreliable security system for the full balance. Nobody explained this about my contract that I was basically handcuffed to them.We have had problems from the beginning and it has never been installed correctly or set up correctly. Technitians came out twice. For an Alberta company they sure treat Albertans poorly.Stay away from this company. Do not patronize this company in anyway.

      This company needs to get their employees to relay the same information as I was told different information by different people on separate occasions. I called in December ************************************************************* Feb ****, I was told by the lady that even though my name is not the primary name on the account but I co signed the contract and my name was on the account I would be able to call back in the end of January **** to cancel my subscription to this company's services, she even told me she confirmed the details with a manager. She even allowed me to change billing methods at this time. I called yesterday (Jan 29, ****) to cancel my contract once it is completed in Feb **** and was told I was not allowed to and that I would have to get written consent from my EX who no longer lives in this house. This company will allow me to change account information such as payment methods but won't let me cancel my contract when it is over in Feb ****. Not only that, they want me to reach out to my ex to get written consent when my name is also on the account. This ********************** is ridiculous when it comes to cancelling services but has no problem taking your money.

      Terrible customer service, i moved in July ******************************************************************************** new residence even though it was only 10 minutes away. They promised it would be soon so I didn't worry about it. It is now 3 months later and I have asked repeatedly to have my service canceled with no fees as they obviously cannot provide me with service. They refuse to do that, say they are going to credit my account but never do and continue charging me. Also the service before this move was always terrible had to have doorbell camera replaced multiple times with no credit for lost time with service. I have asked my issue be escalated to management several times and no one will call me. I am very upset and frustrated.
