This location sold me gift cards for laser hair removal and then refused me Services at that location and told me that I had to go to another location. When I purchased the gift cards I was informed that Spasation would hold on to the gift cards as sometimes customers loss them. And thats what they did. I had over ******************************************************************************************************************************************************** to go to a different location. This location also employers hair stylist that DO NOT have their hair stylist license and are not supposed to be cutting, stying hair! I will be reporting them to the apprenticeship board.

On Wednesday, 29 March 2023 I booked a massage for 3:30 p.m. I specifically requested a deep tissue massage. The massage therapist gave me what I would classify at best as a "recreational rub" with little to no pressure applied. The manager apologised, promised to speak to the therapist and gave me a 10% discount. I explained that I had forgotten my gift receipt, so I paid with an Interac transaction. On Saturday, 22 April 2023 I booked a pedicure for 4p.m. The pedicure was satisfactory. However, when I tried to use my gift receipt to pay, the cashier informed me that they were no longer accepting gift receipts, only gift cards, and my payment would have to be by cash, debit or credit card. She referred me to a small nondescript typed sign on a back counter stating that this practice would be effective April 4th. She told me that a new card could not be produced for my gift receipt, so I would just have to accept loss of the balance. I refused to pay and requested to speak to the manager; he was unavailable. When I threatened to contact BBB the girl produced a new gift card for the balance remaining ($147) after payment deducted for the pedicure. At the least, I should have been informed on 29 March of the upcoming change in payment policy, so that I could arrange for a new gift card. I definitely should not be expected to accept loss of the money paid to Spasation for my initial gift.
