    I made a reservation through Priceline to stay at a Super 8 hotel in Edmonton for Canada Day celebrations on June 29 - July 2nd, 2024. When I checked in, I was asked how many devices I had in order to receive a separate password for each device. Given that everyone uses the internet in today's society, this request was confusing to me. Additionally, the bed in my room was broken; when I sat on it, I almost fell over. I reported this to the front desk, and the maintenance man who came to fix it sat on the bed with his dirty clothes. Afterward, I was switched to room 208. In this new room, the water pressure in the face basin pipe was so low that I had to use a cup to catch water to rinse my mouth, and the water pressure in the shower was also low.On top of these issues, I had a medical emergency at home involving my child, so I had to check out on June 30 and drive 5 hours back home. However, I was not refunded for the nights of July 1 and 2. When I called the hotel, they claimed that I checked out on the 1st, but Priceline said I checked out on the 2nd. The manager at the hotel, *****, refused to refund me for the nights I did not stay, and Priceline managers said they called the hotel but were also refused a refund for me. I find this situation unacceptable. I have photos and videos of everything I mentioned, including the taped-up remote control batteries to prevent them from falling out. These business practices should not be allowed. It's very unfair for them to keep my money and rent the room to someone else. It's unbelievable to think that a big corporation would refuse to refund me for 2 nights. I will be sharing my concerns with the media so that people are aware and choose not to stay at this location. They can also keep any rewards I may have earned from this stay, as I am no longer interested in the company.
