On Thursday, January 18th, I engaged A1 Towing services in Fort McMurray following a recommendation from a local repair shop. This experience turned into a nightmare as I encountered several issues. Firstly, the towing service was overpriced at $315, and obtaining a receipt took three separate phone calls. The situation worsened when the repair shop notified me the next day that my car's brake hose had sustained damage during the tow, necessitating an additional $200 in repair costs. My attempts to seek reimbursement for the tow became a frustrating ordeal. During interactions with A1 Towing representatives, I encountered unprofessionalism and an unwillingness to take responsibility. They spun a nonsensical story involving a mysterious person and a skid steer, refusing any acknowledgment of their role in the damages incurred during the tow. To substantiate my claim, I obtained security footage from the repair shop, revealing that the damage was solely a result of A1 Towing's negligence. The video clearly depicted A1 Towing's chains causing the damage they vehemently denied. Additionally, the repair shop provided a damaged brake hose with distinct indentations from chains, further confirming A1 Towing's accountability. Despite presenting overwhelming evidence, A1 Towing persists in refusing any reimbursement or coverage for the damages. Consequently, I find myself burdened with an out-of-pocket expense of $715, which includes the unjust cost of damages and the initially overpriced tow. This description underscores the need for a thorough investigation into A1 Towing's conduct and a prompt reimbursement of the $315 charged for the tow. The damages, both financial and vehicular, underscore the urgency for a fair resolution to rectify this unfortunate situation.

On Jan 18 at 3:55 pm ********* ***** called in to mainline at A-1 and asked for service...AMA had a 3 day wait for service and requested to have it done as soon as possible.  A-1 had a 48 hour ETA, but I moved ******** to the same day and had a driver complete the tow before he finished for the day.

On Jan 19 the office emailed ********* her invoice at her request because she needed to be refunded by AMA.

I am rejecting this response because:

I did not make any claim that there was body damage to the car. My complaint was that they damaged my break hose.

There was no man with a skidd steer that moved my car. There is camera footage to prove that no one came anywhere near it after the drop off.

    Sincerely,

    ********* *****
