I have been researching hotels/resorts in the ******/Jasper area for the last week. Jasper Gates had great reviews and would be perfect for our small family gathering. I have reviewed the hotels website multiple times- there is no mention of a minimum night stay, when you click on book now you can reserve a room for one night including on long weekends and it quotes the price for 1 night. I emailed the reservations email address to inquire as I needed a minimum of 5 rooms. They automatically booked me 3 rooms but told me the cabin was a min. of 3 nights. When another type of room became available, I inquired about that as again online it would let me book for 1 night. When I inquired why there was a difference and nothing on their website indicating the 3 night minimum I was informed via email July 26/22 at 8:48pm I talked to my Manager and she said you will still be charged for 3 nights if you book it online for 1 night. I have absolutely no problem if they want to have a 3 night minimum stay but it should be indicated on their website and not allow you to book 1 night but then tell you, they will charge for 3. Other potential visitors should be aware that they will be charged for 3 nights even though they only book for 1.
