    We had hired this business in the past to do several jobs including gutter cleaning & odd construction work & were please with his attitude & work ethic. We asked him to build us a deck on an RV lot near Camrose / Toefield which he agreed he could/would do for us & agreed on $1,000 under the table CASH payment with all materials supplied. After much stalling & excuses he finally started the build early one morning with us believing it was only him working BUT upon our arrival we found him with a partner that we did not approve of don't like or trust. We watched as he furiously & recklessly built this deck having no idea that he had no idea of what he was even doing. His partner left early evening but he continued till almost midnight where he packed up HIS stuff left us with his mess & to return whatever he had borrowed to even do the job demanded his money & left & haven't heard from or seen him since. Upon inspection of the deck we discovered we could not even walk on it as was not braced properly nothing matched up there were gapping holes that we could fall into had not been nailed properly & any cutting of boards was uneven & some looked like he had cut them on a boat on the water jiving with the up/down motion of the waves basically a piece of garbage. He did come back on another day but only made abusive accusations & finger pointed at me for his own mistakes & we had to hire another contractor to start all over & completely re-do & buy even more materials. Being seniors & my husband severely disabled he not only fell on this deck on a raised board but now we are left used heartsick & abused & have lost $1,000 being on a limited income & had to pay all over again to make it right. We want to recoup our losses & MAKE SURE THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE PLEASE HELP US TO MAKE THIS RIGHT & STOP THIS BUSINESS FROM ANY MORE UNSAVORY PRACTICES & ABUSIVE TREATMENT.
