    Was going to start the gym at the Leduc, AB, Canada location. Signed up for their monthly membership, which the contract states is no commitment. Shortly after I was relocated for work in a difference province and went into the gym to close my account before I left. They told me they could not help me as the manager was not in. I went back the next day and the CSR informed me my payment bounced, as the sign up fee was higher than what I was told. I tried explaining this to management and said I have to cancel as I am moving out of province. I asked for an adjustment which they wouldn’t not do. They informed me I would have to see a manager when they are in which they weren’t in that day. I called the next day as I was leaving for work and moving. She informed me I had to come into the gym and cancel, I said I cannot as I have been in three days in a row and nobody was available and I am now moving out of province. I then asked for a manager and finally I was able to talk with them. She informed me no adjustments would be made whatsoever and they would be charging my bank account until they get payments as well as reoccurring fees. I said I physically cannot come into the gym as I am OUT OF PROVINCE permanently. She informed be she will not do anything for me unless I can come into the gym and make payments and cancel in person. I replied with this is not possible as I am not flying into the province anytime soon and will not fly just to go to the gym to cancel my membership. She informed me well “this is too bad, you will be charged and charged and charged.” I have called endless times trying to figure this out and they will do absolutely nothing over the phone but I am not able to get to the gym as I have permanently moved out of province. I have been charged NSF fees as well as reoccurring charges that are not authorized by them, as well as my bank.
