    I hired a contractor to do some work on a house I recently purchased. One of those jobs was to replace the flooring in my basement. There was concrete floors. We asked the contractor if any type of leveling was used and we were assured that he uses vinyl plank flooring that does not require it. He supplied the flooring and installed it along with another guy. Now a couple of months later we are running in to problems with the floors, the planks have many low spots and the boards are uneven causing ridges, I have been told this will break the click lock system of the planks and the whole floor will have to be replaced and done properly. Also when you step on certain spots you can feel air and decompression in the board. I feel we initially raised these concerns with our contractor but he assured us the floors will be fine, when they are not, we paid good money for this work and now have to find someone else to completely reinstall our floors. I messaged the contractor and asked that he fix these floors properly or refund my money, it has been two weeks now and no response from him. I would like a full reimbursement for the money i paid.
