I have a covered deck and one corner had to be raised about 2 inches and the support post for that corner was leaning over. The old railing and support for the covering were removed and then the new posts to old up the deck roof was replaced. Then the corner was raised and the new support post was installed. As a result that end of the roof gutter was raised and water no longer will drain through the old down spout. I brought this to the attention of the project manager and he assured me they would relocate the downspout. On the last day of the project I asked about the downspout and was told "You will have to get a quote for that."During the project one of the workers used the pieces of siding to cover the place where the old stairs were located. Because of that the duradeck that goes up the side of the house is exposed. The project manager was aware of this and only partially rectified the problem and there is more of the duradeck exposed than there should be.When the old railing was removed the old support support for the roof beam were made of metal that left rust stains on the roof support beam. The project manager assured that the stains would be removed, the holes where the lag bolts went into the beam would be caulked and the beam painted. None of this was done. I ended up removing the stains myself. When the stair railing was installed it is as least 6 to 8 inches too short. The end caps had to be modified so they could be installed. When the railing was installed there was a hole in the siding that had to be patched. I was assured that where the patch was placed it would be caulked. It was not. There is an electrical junction box for the air conditioner that had to be moved so they could do the work on the deck. I was assured that that box would be refastened to the wall and it was not. This project took way too long to complete. It was started on the last week of August and was not completed till the 14 of October.
