      In January of 2016 I noticed icicles forming underneath the siding along one end of my home. I’ve been trying to get ***** from Pleasant Homes to fix it since then and every year it gets worse. In the last two weeks I’ve left 6 messages for ***** and sent I email with photos and I’ve heard nothing. I talked to his partner **** last week who told me I have an attitude problem. He said he’d talk to ***** and get back to me but I’ve heard nothing. This home was not built properly and Pleasant Homes does not stand behind their product. They did not wire or plumb it to code, did not install a proper subfloor and installed a cheap furnace that I’ve had to have serviced a dozen times. Worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my life.

      We have been out to Miss ****** as per e-mails.

      Miss ****** has been notified by the factory that we are in contact with the factory too.

      Pleasant Homes has been out with a Thermal imager to see if there are leakages in the vapor barrier and found none, Miss ****** was on site when we completed this.

      When siding tech was there to pull the siding and re-install, he did find dead flies as per e-mail explanation.

      I am rejecting this response because:


      I have had a company out to look at the problem and they said it has nothing to do with flies. They said it is an insulation problem and said there is moisture in between the siding and the house so I’m hiring a company to further investigate.  Pleasant Homes did come out once with a thermal imager but only ran it along the roofline and not down the wall inside my walk in closet where the problem originates. My siding is permanently stained and it wouldn’t be like that if the problem was flies. I’ve asked ***** repeatedly to come out and take off the siding and check it out but he refuses to. He will take no responsibility for anything and does not stand behind his product. I’ve asked him for the emails he said he sent to the factory with the pictures I gave him four years ago and he refuses to send them. I don’t think he sent anything to anybody. I regret buying this house and dealing with this company.
