    **** is a 4y/o Great Dane/St.Bernard at 145 lbs and ****** is 13y/o golden retriever at about 90lbs

So when I left the dogs at club mead pet resort Dec 11.

I checked in on Dec 16. When I texted to check in, I was told they were doing good. I requested that they each receive an XL yeti chew each immediately and 1 raw bone every 3 days. I check in again new years and I'm told they are doing great.

I pick them up on the 4th, **** is a bit skinnier, they stink despite requesting a bath and nail trim before leaving and the dog bed with part of the foam chewed. I was told that she had started chewing the dog bed early on in their stay and had to have it removed and got blankets instead.

That evening we notice her rear right leg by the knee had 2-3 large angry bumps, it was crusty and seeping (clear)fluid. The left leg had 1 bump but wasn't nearly as bad.

I bring this up to Club Mead when I had to go to pick up ****'s blanket on the 8th. I quickly realized that I made the mistake of picking it up on a Sunday. At that time, their computer system showed that they had 98 dogs in their care. On Monday, I send out an email explaining what injuries happened. I hear no response back by the 13th, I go to their website, send the same email into their contact us form.
It isn't until the 17th that I receive a response. No apology was made, An explanation of what could have happened, Mostly excuses. I was then offered, in goodwill, a bath and nail trim.

In the time that it took Club Mead to reply to 1 email about the 1 injury their stay inflicted, both dogs got kennel cough symptoms which ended in a $300 vet bill. The less injured leg has been healing in a way that confirms pressure ulcer. She might not grow fur there anymore, might scar, risks infection and its going to take months to heal.

*Paid almost a month's rent(1586.30) worth for this business to care for my 2 dogs for 24 days, however likely permanently injured one of them and gave them both kennel cough*
