The owner of * Brows Studio gave me an eyebrow that was higher than the other. The color was too dark and boxy. During the touch-up, I explained how I wanted my brows corrected. The owner didn't do what I instructed. I was embarrassed by my appearance , and I had to pay someone who knew how to map brows and color correct to try and fix this unfortunate situation. I paid an extravagant price for combination brows ($500), and there is no combination. it's just a solid tattoo. Im beyond disgusted. The owner has my number and has not reached out to resolve the problem. I visited her personally, and she refused to comprehend how her services are not comparable to what she advertises and what other professionals achieve. I was surprised that she charged me for threading during the touch-up as it should have been included as a necessary part of the process. The * Brow experience was extremely painful as she placed the pigment too deep, causing the black to turn ashy grey. Contrasted with the Artistry in Ink, a color was chosen to match my hair, and it was by comparison painless because the ink application was not too deep and a better method of numbing cream and going from one brow to another was practiced. What should have been done for optimal results would have been to remove * Brows Studios' work and start fresh.I paid $260 at Artistry Ink by ********* in *******. She corrected the color and the shape and gave me true combination brows that I'm happy with.Refunding all charges would be a step in the right direction, or at least refunding the amount for the correction by a competent artist.Requested style Combination micro-blading and tattoo. I paid extra but instead of seeing individual hair strokes, all I was left with is solid uneven boxy looking brows that are too dark. I know that she is not capable of doing the work on her ******** page. She used false advertising

    Business Response

    Date: 27/07/2024

Good day, I apologize for the late response. I did not receive the first letter and just received this one today. In regards to this client, during her first visit, she seemed very pleased with the service. Regrettably I do not have access to the first review she left as she has since deleted it, but I will attempt to reach out to the ****** Business page and see if it can be retrieved in any way. You may or may not be familiar with how semi-permanent eyebrow tattooing works, but after the initial procedure, a 4-6 week touchup is required, which is included with the initial price I charge. This is because during the healing process, there is some scabbing and it can cause some of the pigment to come out, so the purpose of the touchup is simply to replace any pigment that may have been lost during the healing process, the client is also asked if there is anything they would like to adjust with the final shape of their eyebrows. After this client got her initial procedure done, she left a great ****** review about my business, and the next time I saw her was after a few weeks for her touchup. I would also like to add that in her paperwork, she did not leave any contact number to be reached at, and when she would phone our work phone number, it was always on No Caller ID or Private caller. After her touch up, I did not hear from her until she paid me a visit to express that she was not happy with her eyebrows and she had gotten another artists work done on top of my own. She then asked to be compensated for the amount she paid to have them redone by another artist. In my 14 years of business, I have always resolved any complaints or client concerns when they reach out, but this client did not reach out to me until she had gotten them done for a third time by someone else. I will also include her form, which states that one of her eyebrow concerns is that they look white/grey which is a result of aging, and the service I provide can not alter the colour of someones hair. Since this encounter, she has regularly been posting and deleting her reviews every few days, I have screenshotted one so far to keep on record, and will screenshot the next time she posts one as well. This feels like defamation to myself and my business, if I was not honest in the work I have done, I would not have made it this far in the industry for 14 years. I would also like to add that this client leaves public ****** reviews on almost everything, which I personally believe speaks about her character. If she had addressed that she was unhappy with my work, I would have gladly done something to make sure her needs were being met, but since she got them redone by another artist and I was not able to see up close where she feels like I could have done a better job, it is not fair to me or my small business to pay her back for not only my time and product, but also for the work someone else had done. I hope you understand where I stand in this. I have had very many clients for years that can speak on not only my work but my character as well, but at this point, it feels like I am borderline being harassed for something I was not even given a chance to correct. It is harming my business by having her update her reviews, and I will start to consider taking some proper action towards her as well if it reaches that point. If possible, please take a look at her public ****** page, where she has left reviews on almost everyplace she visits from parks to fast food locations, etc. I would be more than willing to provide any additional information if needed.

I am rejecting this response because: I paid over $500 for combination eyebrows in a professional manner. Combination brows give the appearance of individual hairs and a tattooed look at the tail of the Brows. At no time did I ever have the look of individual hairs on my brows which is what other professionals offer and achieve. My brows were pencil thin and boxy. I told the owner twice that I do not like the boxy look and it is not in fashion. She had a second opportunity to give me a natural looking brow and failed both times. I asked her to specifically correct the fact that one eyebrow was higher than the other but on the second attempt the finished work was worse. I did initially give her a positive review wanting to ****** a good relationship with her. After the second attempt to have my brows corrected I was very hurt. I was told by 3 independent professional eyebrow artists to have her work removed buy a tatoo removal service. I was told that the color of my brows which was black was too harsh for my complexion. On my second visit I told M Brows owner that I did not like black eyebrows because my natural hair is auburn. The 3 professional tatoo artists I saw all agreed that the black eyebrow color turned ash grey because of the fact that the tatoo ink was placed too deeply in my skin causing deeper scabs. M Brows tatoo application was very painful and the revision I had done by a true professional was much more comfortable. I provided pictures with myself in glasses that clearly revealed that 1 eyebrow was much higher than the other. I would also like to add that M Eyebrow Studio doesn't map and measure Eyebrows like the other trained professionals. I truly believe that the owner of M Eyebrows has not been educated like the other owner/ operators of eyebrows salons.

I am a ****** guide. I review alot of places and 99% of my reviews are positive. M Eyebrow Studio disfigured my face and it was an embarrassment. I would challenge the owner of M Eyebrows to take my before and after pictures to any professional and they would agree that her work needs to stop, and she needs an education on how to care for women's eyebrows in keeping with industry standards.

I trusted M Eyebrows twice with my Eyebrows. I couldn't let her continue to ruin my face. $ 500 was paid for " Combination Brows" that is a service she never delivered if you would look at the pictures. The fact that my brows were too dark, too thin and very unnatural is also clear. It's a shameful testament to her character that she can't admit this and refund my loses because the harm she has done outweighs the loss I have endured in the $ 500 I paid her

    Sincerely,
