Over the past 3 years, I have contracted ********** for multiple projects for my business (roofing, exterior and interior, renovations and a new mezzanine build). Our experience has always been good. The crew is prompt, profession and they back up their work.

I hired Davex Construction for one of my Interior Projects which included new flooring, new drywall mudding and paint, a new ceiling with stipple, and insulation. Davex was very professional from start to finish.DaveX Construction Ltd

DaveX resurfaced a deck with a product that had a lifetime warranty but said the last installer apparently never put a thick enough top layer causing the sun to penetrate the $10,000 maintenance free deck. The company who originally did the work went out of business to DaveX charged me $6000to re surface it. They we all nice before the job and during the job. Said to call if there were any issues. When it rained, the water ran to the edge but could not go over due to a severe lip on the edge. We never had drainage problems before this but when we called about this, we were told a different story that the previous damage was due to ice damming and that we never had the proper slope. Funny because it drained fine until they redid it. The lip is clearly visible but they refuse to even come look at it. Told me to use a squeegee. Yeh, because I bought a maintained free deck so I would have to maintain drainage constantly. Don't be fooled by the sweet talk. They will not warranty or own up to their errors.DaveX Construction Ltd

DaveX Construction was contracted to repair the existing ********* surface which was failing due to improper installation from a company no longer in operation. During our initial assessment it was proposed to the customer that the deck be sloped for drainage purposes, ensuring a maintenance free final product. The customer only wished that ********* surface to be repaired.
We have deemed that the prior install failed as a result of a thinner layer of the top coat of the ********* system being applied than is recommended. This is a common problem that other home owners in central ******* have seen, and have needed repaired by contractors as well. Had the prior installation been done correctly, ice would not have been able to crack the top coat. Ultimately, the pre-existing drainage issue along with the top coat is the cause of this problem.
Our warranty covers any workmanship related problems that *** arise once the product is installed. It does not cover incidental problems caused due to prior issues that we have offered solutions to.
