July 15 contract signed July 16 work completed $6,720 paid via EMT July 16 to ************************************* August 20 - scheduled to return -did not show up Sept 20 - scheduled to return- did not show up again Last communication Aug 26 After multiple calls, emails, texts, requesting explanations or answers we have only gotten 4 email responses from ***** Aug ***********. After the work was completed we waited 2 weeks to park on our driveway, longer than directed. Our side by side, vehicles etc. started to sink and leave large holes in the pavement. The work was rushed and done incorrectly. On July 29th via text the company confirmed they would be back on August 20th to rectify the problem and redo the driveway. On August 17th I emailed and texted multiple times to confirm they were still coming on August 20th. The owner ***** replied and started there was a mistake, that we were booked for September 20th. We were already waiting for a month at this point and have proof of the Sept 20 confirmation. ***** informed he would get it resolved and stated they would 1000% be there on Sept 20 at 7:30am. So again, we waited another month and heard nothing. It is now September 24th, they did not show up for any of the dates scheduled and we have not heard a word from them since August 26th, no email, texts, calls. All numbers go to voicemail or are not in service. They wasted our time and took a large amount of money. ***** last email on Aug ************************************* the 20th of September we are very sorry for this inconvenience. We had a talk to the bosses and they have said when the job is finished when youre happy we will agree some kind of partial refund because of the inconvenience but they will be there 1000% on the 20th of September. Since then we have been ghosted, with no amount of refund or any communication or explanations. They do not show up when they tell you they will. All we would like is our money returned, or even partially as we were promised.Business Response

We are extremely sorry about the problems youre having were just looking in to the people that were dealing with ********************* location and will no longer be working with us from next year. We will be having a new team and we will be rectifying all the problems that you have we will be back there in May and will put you a brand-new driveway in free of charge with another five year warranty from the day its installed.Customer Answer

On June 20, *************************************************************************************************************************** our area. We agreed on a price of $7500.00 . They showed up the next day and did the job. We were not home at the time. The owner called us and wanted his money immediately after the job was complete. We said we would pay when ** saw the completed job. We saw the job, were not happy with it as he said it would be 4 inches of asphalt and it clearly was not and it was crumbly like gravel. He promised it would get solid in time. We paid him the full amount and went on vacation. When e returned, not only was it not solid, weeds were growing through it and ant hills were being made through it. We contacted the owner, he agreed it should not be doing that and said he would return on July 26 to add product and seal it. He did not show. We have emailed and left many messages with no response. He had also promised they would come back in September to seal the driveway before winter. (I do not know how to resize my pictures but can email them to you) . Paid to asphalt driveway installed. They completed the work, saying they would come back to seal the driveway at a later date. When I called to try to arrange a sealing date, that employee had "left the company". Tried to call the office, and it immediately went to voicemail.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:The last time an appointment for seal coating was arranged, they did not arrive as agreed upon, and they were unreachable. The work completed at my house and my neighbour's was completed to a sub-par standard. If they would like to reach me directly at ************, I would be open to hearing their explanation.

I am rejecting this response because:Even when I tried calling "your office" the other day after your first response, it went straight to an automated message saying "you were closed for annual leave until August."
In the contract that was signed, it states I have a 5 year warranty, which includes a total replacement of the driveway. As the workmanship is subpar, with weeds growing through the driveway after 2 months, I want to use the warranty replacement, where I will have an external asphalt professional supervising the work being carried out to ensure that it is to industry standard.
Also, I suspect the other 4 plus houses that were done terribly in my area will also expect the same outcome.
Personally, with all the investigating I've carried out on my end, I believe this is a scam company, doing terrible work and then skipping town before anyone is the wiser. Even if anything is put in "ryden" as you said in your response, then I believe I'll just be left holding a piece of paper.
I have attached a file of the contract, which clearly shows that I am entitled to a warranty replacement. If you want to put, in writing, that you will honor the agreement as per the contract, I will accept that. I would want this total replacement to be carried out in May 2025.
If what you put in writing for signature is too vague, I will not agree to it. It will need to clearly state the following at a minimum:
1. That you will honour the warranty replacement as agreed upon in the contract no later than May 2025.
2. That failure to honour the contract will be considered a breach of the contract (the one attached)

We are very sorry to hear about the problems you have would be willing to replace the driveway brand-new will be willing to dig it down 9 inches lay 6 inches of gravel then compacted then lay 3 inches of brand-new Hot Asphalt of course this will charge you five year guarantee From the date its installed
