    I bought a storage unit at auction and I had arranged a time to empty the unit. The manager of the facility wouldnt honour those arrangements and sold my unit to the next guy, after I paid the auction price and a cleaning deposit. They refused to refund me either.

    Thank you for submitting your concerns for resolution.

    After review of this file, we have confirmed that this client did not meet the terms of the rules outlined for Auctions. Auction rules are outlined by a third party company Ibid for Storage who supports the sale of those units that go to auction. Sentinel Storage is not the auction company.

    I have attached a copy of the Ibid Terms of Agreement for Reference.

    Client was given more than one extension to support the removal of the items but failed to follow through with these arrangements. Client was also offered the ability to rent the space to support a longer extension but did not attend or communicate before the deadline for this offer.

    Our team made numerous attempts to support this client. Ultimately, we had no choice but to report the client to **** who made the decision to proceed with their terms to award to the next eligible bidder.

    If the client has concerns regarding the terms outlined they are encouraged to reach out to the Auction Company.

    Took a payment out of account after I gave peoper notice and terminated our contract. They say I have to wait 10 days for refund and I believe this to be unacceptable.
