    I have a complaint, I called the hotel asking if they had any smoking rooms available to rent, the owner/manager,I don’t know the name, said he had one room,so I booked it,& told him I’ll be there within an hour, I was coming from out of town,I checked in paid $196(3nights)on my debit card.He did not charge me any security deposit on room,after talking to me,he said that he was OK with not charging me.I was exhausted from the day I went into room,laid on bed & fell asleep.When I woke up,looked around
    I was shocked! I took many pictures & called the front desk right away, I said the room was unacceptable dirty.He said that was the only smoking room available&room was clean when i checked in-I-should’ve notified him immediately,I asked to be put in a cleaner room & I would smoke outside-he said NO-I had to keep that room, the hotel was booked for a tournament.no other room aval, I asked for my money back!he said NO,I thought I was paying for three nights for $196-when I checked in.He came to my room(Sunday)asked me to pay for the last night-i was stunned.I had to further pay another $78.00.I question the price-he charged me for 2 beds even though 1 was only used.I could not afford to be kicked out! had nowhere to go-so I had to pay $78more on my debit. The room is VERY bad! I could not use the shower/tub either- I could not pick up the phone or turn on the lamp because of the dirty nastiness all over it.This is a severe health violation,I want my money back for suffering through it, there was NO tournament-as i saw no other cars except a maroon coloured car when i checked in.Because I don’t own a credit card, I couldn’t secure anything at a different hotel in Rimbey- I had a limited amount of money.I have stayed at that hotel 2+ years ago, and was charged only 54.00/night.Thinking I paid for 3 nights($196 plus taxes)I didn’t question that amount, 2 years ago the room was excellent it was an older room-BUT CLEAN.
