    I bought a vehicle from Calgary Copart auction on the 24th of November, 2023, I paid in full on the 27th of November, 2023. The vehicle I purchased was for $24,659.26. Upon my arrival to the registry on the 1st of December 2023 to register the vehicle under my name, the employees at the registry informed me that the vehicle was stolen in the ******* Jurisdiction and refused to register the vehicle under my name. I immediately reported this information to Copart Calgary, but they denied these allegations and asked to see the official documents from the registry. The registry informed me that they would give me the official documents, but they would charge me $22. I took the documents in person directly to Copart Calgary, and they confirmed the information. Since that incident, I have been calling Copart Calgary to resolve the matter but they have still not done so. I have been in touch with the general manager of Copart Calgary named ***********************************, and he has not given me a clear answer for at least 35 days. This issue has given me severe stress as the business refuses to resolve this matter and have put it aside. I have tried to reach out to the business itself many times but they have not picked up. That is why I am launching this complaint against Copart Calgary, please get in touch with them and request for them to resolve this matter.

    I have been actively working on having this issue resolved. Copart sells the vehicles on behalf of our customers and does not own the vehicle in question. The vehicle in question does have a theft flag from *******. I have contacted the seller several times to have it removed. Last week, Copart was informed by the seller the theft flag was removed. Unfortunately, there have been issues and the flag remains. Copart has reached out to the seller once again on January 16 in regard to this issue. They are looking into the theft and will follow up. 

    Through out this process, I have been in contact with the buyer to keep him up to date. I have offered to reverse the sale and refund the buyer's money. The buyer has stated he wants to keep the vehicle.
