    I am rejecting this response because:

    While the business (Bigboy Landscaping) reached out with payment arrangements, they were inadequate based on:

    - the use of deposit for financial gain (business acknowledged using it on credit card), prior to any work initiated
    - clear wording in quote that money is to be returned within 5 business days if work is cancelled, which notice was provided (when an exact date was not yet scheduled for work to begin)
    - no attempt by the business to make payment arrangements over several months (September to November), knowing the deposit was to be returned
    - poor communication about returning deposit
    - payment arrangement amount ($500), frequency  (twice a month) and term to pay back 6 months is inadequate, based on the above stated facts; we (customer/homeowners) are not a bank and the business isn’t making it a priority to return the deposit in a timely manner
    - we (customer) would consider more appropriate (escalated) payment arrangements that would see our deposit money returned in a more timely manner. E.g. $2,000 bi-weekly (by Dec. 9, Dec. 23, and Jan. 6).
    - As noted, the business should not have used our deposit to pay off their credit card prior to work. Deposit provided in July, cancellation of work in September, deposit should have been returned within 5 days. Only acceptable arrangements will be considered, as this situation has gone on far too long already.
