**** ******* ** * ***** This company is a shell of Alberta auto hauler which is blasted all over the intervener for ************************. I contacted alberta hauler to bring my brand new 2022 Tiguan from Quebec to Ontario. I signed their contract, agreed to a price of $1500 and gave them a deposit of $1000.00. The $500 balance was payable upon delivery of vehicle. The company was to pick up the vehicle at the ** dealership in Quebec with their truck. They walked up to the dealership to take my brand new 50k car and drive it away. The salesman called me to tell me. When I called them he said his truck was parked 2km due to low bridges. The salesman said he could follow him to his truck in another vehicle but wasn’t able to because the driver for auto hauler took off quickly and evasively. I have an app on my phone that tracks the position and live mileage of the vehicle so I could see the mileage going up (total 76km driven). I called and confronted them and told them to bring the car back but they refused. They brought the car all the way the car for you at Pearson airport in Toronto and parked it there then sent me a bill for $2500. I called the car for you and had the lot attendant hold the keys and reported it stolen with Edmonton police and Toronto police then booked a flight and went down and retrieved my car after seeing all the reviews online of this company extorting people, lying and stealing parts. They use fake numbers and never send you anything you can use as proof or any receipt. This company is a fraudulent scam. Everything out of the guys mouth was a lie.

Paid $1475 as a deposit to haul a large truck from Ontario to BC. Said the truck would be picked up Saturday and was not. Said for sure Sunday. Dealership was closed Sunday but they left the vehicle where it could still be accessed. Was told by company that they tried to load it but it didn’t fit. This proved to be a lie as the keys were never moved from the spot they were hidden (pictures were taken). Said another truck would be there Tuesday. No show. Then after looking into the business we realized it was a scam and they operate under several other business names. Requested a refund and have not yet got anything back. I’m just so thankful our truck never got loaded by these guys.

August 9th I reached out to Autohauler to ship my vehicle from Ontario to Alberta. On September 14th I went to drop my vehicle off for shipment. I was advised that my vehicle will take a week to ship. Its almost been 2 months and I'm getting the run around from this company. Messages of a response of "ya" "ya wait" and no calls or update. If I can get a hold of the company it's this week it's coming then no response. I requested a full refund as they requested me to park at park for u in Etobicoke. My vehicle was parked there for a month and accumulated charges for parking there. I have got no update as to where my vehicle is. After reading the *** website I noticed that everyone that used this company has been abused with this type of fraud they think is legal by sending a document with specifications stating non refundable. At this point I made a Toronto police report for a stollen vehicle and will register a lien on this company. It's been almost two months no vehicle no answering of my calls.

      Hello,

Our car was stuck so we called Auto Haul, who we found on a Google search, to relocate the car back home. They were quick to setup the pick up with a "contract" and even quicker to take our $500 deposit via etransfer before they could pick up the car. We called several times and followed up but it still wasn't picked up almost 2 weeks later. First they said they tried to pick it up but couldn't and that they would try again but didn't. Thanks to the mechanic shop being on a secured private lot we know that they never attempted to pick up the car failing to fulfill their services and breach of contract. We realized something wasn't right so we checked *** where we found numerous horror stories from others who were scammed by Auto Haul or the other company's under their false identity. Luckily, we cancelled before our car was held hostage like the others. We’ve asked for our money back even though their contract states no refund for deposit but they don’t provide a service, falsify information and don’t pick up the car forcing people to cancel allowing them to keep their deposit. This is an outright scam and this is how they’re able to scam people by using no refund on deposit as part of a “contract” they never intend to fulfill. Thank you everyone for taking the time to report this scam and I'll be in touch if you leave your email address to help you like others helped me in this situation.
