    On April 1st of 2024 I had a reoccurring warranty related issue with my Hyundai vehicle that resulted in the eventual engine replacement, I took the initiative to contact the Hyundai head office directly after the dealership delayed my warranty claim for months on end without contacting me with updates (after replacing vehicle parts without my consent) in which head office informed me that the dealership claimed I had a refusal against my claim even though there was nothing on head office file stating there was a refusal. *********** then claimed they would get my issue resolved after 48 hours then proceeded to delay me another 2 months or so until the time that my warranty would be expired and then used that as an excuse to claim my warranty invalid even though the claim was made 4 or 5 months prior to this. Additionally they stated there was scarring on the cylinder walls which was previously seen as irrelevant in a civil suite made against Hyundai in November 2023 where the case was settled in the favor of consumers. They are now taking months of delay on said engine replacement and charging me 5000$ for something that was meant to be covered by warranty ( knock sensor was replaced and all software updates were completed prior).

    On July 25th, 2024, I had a phone conversation with a sales *** ******* I wanted to come purchase a vehicle and he said he won't hold it for me unless I give them $500. I wanted this in writing but they refused. I did not sign anything but over the phone I gave them my credit card number to pay the deposit. He confirmed over the phone that I would be getting my money back if I do not purchase the vehicle. The vehicle was not as advertised when I came to pick it up so I asked if I would get my money back, they said yes. They also said if I purchased the vehicle I would be getting my deposit refunded to my account. I was about to leave when I asked them to refund my deposit and they said they're not going to do that (this was after they treated me horribly as a customer, gaslighting me into thinking there is no rust on the vehicle, calling me a liar, etc.) At the end of the day, the reason I didn't purchase the vehicle was because of how I was treated as a customer by "Shaf", and I think that's the reason I do not have my money back. I was misinformed about the deposit as I was initialing paperwork because they had verbally told me I was getting my deposit back no matter what. The sales *** told me "I don't get paid to work with people, I get paid to sell vehicles and you wasted my entire afternoon". I need a refund due to this sales *** being manipulative and lying about the terms of a deposit to get me to sign papers.
