Alquinn Homes dug 2.5 feet over my property line down the entire north side of my home in order to dig the foundation for the home next to mine. This was October 2021 and I have been trying since then to get them to fix my rough and final grades and replace my sod. Last summer Alquinn installed the neighbours' sod, but did not fix my grade or restore the landscaping on my property to the way it was prior to their actions. Tundra Excavating, the landscaping company that Alquinn contracted, assured me at that time that they received the acknowledgement from Alquinn to replace all of the sod on the north side of my home. It is now mid-July 2024 and I just keep getting delayed by the landscaper and I can't get a hold of anyone at Alquinn.

The last time that I called Tundra Excavating, the company that Alquinn contracted to replace my landscaping was Thursday, July 4, 2024.  ******* is the business owner, and he did not answer my call.  He then sent me a text stating that he was getting on a plane and would call me when he landed.  He never did.  The last time I spoke to ******* was June 13, 2024 when he assured me that he would fix and replace the landscaping on the entire north side of my home.  He stated at that time that he was on his way to a job in southern ******* and would be back in ********** around the end of June.

I tried calling ******************************* from Alquinn Homes also on Thursday, July 4th as well as Friday, July 5th, but she did not answer either time.

I am rejecting this response because:

I finally met with the new landscaper contracted by Alquinn yesterday and we discussed how **** needed to be imported to increase the height of the rough grade where the sod had been ripped out.  Initially, he was just going to rip out the dead sod, throw down some topsoil and new sod.  That would be unacceptable, as the grade on that side of my house has quite the slope, maybe 30 degrees, being difficult to walk on, especially when icy.

He also mentioned that he was going on vacation soon, so it might be completed in a couple of weeks.  My landscaping needs to be returned to its original state, to my satisfaction, before I am willing to agree that this is acceptable.

    Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because I am still waiting for my landscaping to be fixed.

As per the BBB process, I must reply in a certain timeframe to keep this complaint open.
