On February 1st, I brought my phone in to have the battery replaced on my iPhone 13 mini. Online the website stated that they provided ***** repairs. It was not stated prior to changing the battery that the battery was not an ***** product. Once at home, the phone battery charge declined within a few hours, so I called, and they said they would put the original battery back in as the new one "must be defective". When they tried to put the original battery in, they broke the screen and said the original battery could not be reinserted, so provided a non-***** screen and the same defective battery for replacement. The phone became very glitchy and difficult to use, so I notified Dr. Phone Fix and they assured me I would be reimbursed for the screen that they broke. I called ********* *********, and they were able to get me in for an appointment the next day. They were not unable to fix the phone, despite being certified for ***** repairs, as their systems showed that the damage was too extensive and required the phone to be mailed in. I went to Dr. Phone Fix, showing them the report by ********* *********, and they assured me that I would be reimbursed, to email the receipt and they would pay for the damages they cost. Once back at home in Ontario, I took the phone to Jump expecting to need to mail the phone in, and they were able to successfully repair the defective battery and the glitchy screen installed by Dr. Phone Fix. I attempted several times to email Dr. Phone Fix to have the promised reimbursement, and they then asked for the defective screen and battery to be returned. Had they asked this prior to having it fixed, I could have accommodated them, but seeing as their request was done after, I provided them with Jump+'s report of the repair included in the receipt, with contact information so that they could make the request to them. They have ignored my emails and requests for reimbursement since then.
