    I am rejecting this response because:
    They did not make it clear that they are not 100% sure it might not be collapsed. I was told that using high pressure water was better than a snake and will clear any clogged lines with food and grease. Being they were wrong and the pipe was fine they could admit there mistake and refund the 500 in good faith if they want a bad reputation from a call so be it I will file with small claims and also request not just a refund but full cost of repairs.

    Hi,

    While attending this call for the clogged sink, we attempted to flush through the kitchen drain to clear it.

    After several hours of flushing, we could not get through the blockage.

    We also had sand backing up while flushing.

    This, coupled with the fact that the house has 74 year old plumbing, lead us to suggest the drain could possibly be collapsed.

    We located and marked the spot on the floor where we couldn't get our equipment through (free of charge)

    I spoke to ***** and told him that with the sand coming back and the age of the home, it would not surprise me if the pipe had collapsed or rotted through as this is very common.

    I then proceeded to tell him that we cannot be 100% positive it was broken because we could not get a visual on that spot with our camera due to the blockage. 

    This is why the invoice clearly states "possible" break.

    It was ultimately ******* discretion as the home owner to decide how to proceed.

    We also told him we could finish cleaning the drain now that it was open and we wouldn't charge him any further.

    He declined.
