    On Sept 29 2021, I ordered a Trek Marlin 5 mountain bike in color Lithium Gray, size M from ShopNomads.com. At the time, the bike was not in stock and was a pre-order. Their website showed a “ready to ship” date of Oct 11 2021 (see “screenshot1.png”). This short lead-time advertised on their website is the main reason why I placed the order at this store. On Oct 31, I emailed ShopNomads asking for an update on my order. I received a reply on Nov 1 saying that a shipment of the bikes was due in that day, and they would let me know. On Nov 4, as I didn’t hear back, I emailed them again asking for an update. I was told that the bike would be delayed until April 4 2022. Considering the 6 months delay, I asked if my order could be canceled. They replied that the order could not be canceled as the order was placed more than 7 days ago. So I patiently waited until April 2022. On April 14 and 29 2022, I emailed ShopNomads asking for an update. I got no reply back. On May 12, I asked for an update. I got a reply on May 13 saying that the bike had shipped to the store and they were waiting for it to arrive within 1 week (see attachment “email1.pdf”). On June 6, I asked for an update. I got a reply the same day where they confirmed the bike had shipped and they should be receiving it any day now (see attachment “email2.pdf”). On June 15, 17, 23, June 30, July 6, I asked for an update. I got no reply back. On July 17, I had enough and bought the same bike from my local store and got it 8 days later. On Oct 5, I received an email from ShopNomads.com telling me my bike was now ready to be shipped to me. However they could no longer ship it direct; it had to go to a local store first (see "email3.pdf"). This has been a terrible experience. This store lied about delivery dates, did not allow to cancel when they delayed by 6 months and failed to deliver the bike 1 year after I placed the order.
