    Our truck was towed there by our insurance company and we did not consent to them doing repairs to our truck. Precision purchased parts after doing a partial estimate without written or verbal consent for us. Insurance has deemed us not responsible for an unauthorized expenses, and is covering part restocking fees incurred by this business without proof of any purchasing. Precision Auto continues to withhold our truck from us even though we have no bills associated with them and continue to hold our truck unlawfully. We have no signed contract with them and no signed estimate approval.

    The ***** vehicle was towed to us with their permission. It came on ******* ****** from fox creek. Once here we did an estimate with intact appraisers. We communicated with ***** ***** on 3 separate times by phone. An approved repair estimate from intact was sent to us. ***** ***** called us and a discussion about moving the vehicle or leave with our shop did take place with ***** in our office. ***** agreed he would leave it and $18k worth parts were ordered. When parts arrived we notified ***** ***** by phone and he then denied giving us permission and wanted his vehicle moved to red deer. ********** **** is charging my business a restocking fee that we should not have to pay. Amvic says verbal authorization is legal if documented properly, we have done that. Our shop has not done any repairs on the ***** vehicle and will not do any. We are not illegally holding this vehicle, we have charges owing on it. We have also been in communication with intact adjusters regarding this matter. We also believe mr. ***** is not being truthful to intact about giving us verbal permission.

    I am rejecting this response because: Precision Auto is not being truthful, verbal consent was never given as the estimate was incomplete and we had many questions regarding the estimate, many messages were left with ***** stating we did not want any parts ordered or work complete. 

    Insurance was aware right from day 1 that we did not want the vehicle in Whitecourt but we were not given an option , insurance made the decision to bring it to Whitecourt to avoid tow yard fees and insurance gave us full permission to move the vehicle and deemed us not liable for any parts costs as Precision ordered parts prior to estimate approval from insurance and without signed work order/written consent from us. 

    insurance has graciously taken responsibility for the costs and yet Precision continues to hold our truck hostage and yet we have been advised that they legally can not withhold our vehicle.

    I am rejecting ****** response. We received 100% permission from ***** to move the truck from Fox Creek to our shop. And we did NOT talk to ****** or ***** MANY times, we talked to ***** 3 times regarding moving the truck and ordering parts along with completing a damage estimate. Keep in mind that a preliminary estimate for approval is done by our shop and WITH Intact appraisers. Also...Intact has NOT taken responsibility for these restocking charges and will probably not pay them. Dialogue with **** from Intact along with ******** ********* in Red Deer, ********** **** and Precision Autobody, is currently on going to come to a conclusion to this issue. I ask that the ***** be patient during this process. These untrue accusations are not helpful at this time, and just fuel further anger on both sides.

    I am rejecting this response because: disagree with what is being said by Precision, I do have all documented interactions, so I do actually know what was said and what was not communicated with ***** and this could go back and forth with no real end unless legal actions are being taken against Precision but seeing as our truck has now been released and is no longer being unlawfully held I do not feel communication with this terrible business is necessary. 

    I hope that in the future you conduct your business in a truthful manner and stop attempting to screw potential customers around by wrongful business practices and trying to unlawfully making profits through lies. 


    We are so thankful we do not need to deal with this business anymore.
