Im September if 2022 we hired Omega 1 to complete removal of our shingle roof and replace with metal pro lock system 12 - 26 gauge roof. The quote was supposed to include all the flashings however after roof completed Omega 1 advised it was NOT included in the quote - additional funds required. We hired them to also install a new chimney chase. We advised we wanted our roof to be bat proof - new soffits and fascia. The roof started leaking at the chimney chase and the valleys of the roof- we asked them to re attend asap to resolve the water leakage/ damage.Once they said they were completed we had them re attend to point out several issues with the roof including the debris they left behind. We had asphalt shingles and roofing nails all over our yard and driveway. They also damaged our newly installed retaining wall and stairs by their equipment. We tried on several occasions to point out issues with the roof and the siding they cut- with no avail. They advised that we are too picky. We have had other roofing co tractors and a inspection tor attend to view damages. There is bumps all over - most likley due to the size of staple they used to install the synthetic paper, they installed the pro lock system incorrectly **** silly in the valleys and the chimney chase. They cut our cedar wood siding 2-4 inches in some areas leaving the building paper exposed to the exterior walls to install the flashings. We have been advised that full replacement of the pro lock metal roofing system will require replacement as unable to repair or reuse materials. We have sent photos via email and tried contacting them to resolve the issues with no help at all. At this time we have to pay additional funds to secure the roof including the chimney chase and complete temporary repairs - ensure no water damage or ice damming.
